I see. So you are adverse to challenges to your worldview, too. Pot, meet kettle.

Tell you what...I'll point it out at every opportunity in the future.

There will be plenty of it if history is any predictor

If two parents make the exact same income and they share time with the kids equally, why does one parent have to pay 40% to the other parent?

Since we're talking about loons at the University of Wisconsin.....

What's going on up there? Libs now want to shut down free speech, why can't they just scurry to their safe spaces when they hear something they don't like?

And they whine about being targeted along identity lines all while they target their opposition along identity lines and attempt to shut them down.

Just point it out on both sides and you have a deal.

Deal or no deal...I'm going to point out the racism by the right that you say doesn't exist...and you know I'll have plenty of opportunity

Don't have a good answer for you, my friend. I was in the same boat as you in the 80's.
I had 2 choices. Stay married or get a second job while still having time for the kids.
I worked in a factory by day & 2 evenings a week and on Saturday, I roofed houses on the side.
As long as you get kid time, it all works out.
But I do understand your feelings on this. Been there, done that. :)

Racism by the right? I'll not defend it, if you promise not to use the Democrat Plantation for political gain on the left.

    That's what I thought, no deal.:roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:

Keep in mind what the definition of racism is. Saying I don't like Obama is not racist.

I'm pretty sure not liking Barry is racism, according to the Progs. And whatever you do, don't be colour blind. Colour blindness is also racism, because it fails to remind brown people of how dependent they are on white people.

I'd like to add, as a POC who is not conservative, the messages which send the strongest whiff of racism my way are from Progressives. Even bigoted old white men, who think brown people are dumb dumbs, can be converted within the space of a single conversation with the right brown person.

Progs are irredeemable, because they believe themselves eternally superior. Testament to this is found in their insistence that regardless of how well brown people are doing, they still need whitey's help.

Totally irrelevant to what I said unless you're actually trying to use a single thread as evidence to my very general statement.

So anybody from the right who mentions race is showing their racism.

Tell me you realize how stupid a thing that is to claim. Why not just come out and say people on the right aren't allowed to mention race? At least then you'd be honest.

    - - - Updated - - -

First off, you can't prove that.

Second, I never said I was strictly basing my statement off of this forum only.

Care to deflect in a different manner now?

I can prove it as easily as you can your statement.

No argument I'm new to "this" forum, but it does have one inherent connection to all other political forums, that being the consistency of party affiliation :"Progressive" and the creation of racially charged posts. Clearly, race is a favorite tool with the Liberal crowd, some of it's liberal uses include, guilt, spin, derailing, misdirecting, baiting and trolling! You will be hard pressed to find a Conservative peddling racial topics right out of the gate like the left does!

Just an lengthy observation among several site with the same genre.

    Perhaps history always reminds,
when they brought those folks from Africa and used them as servants.
There is no other resort but to lean on that Gettysburg speech and abide with the law.

Are you claiming the right throws around race as much as the left?

Because you're right, neither can be proven, but when it's as obvious as it is, it falls into the category of common sense.

But I'm curious if you'll make that claim simply to tow the party line or not.

I like the way you write this in a race peddling thread begun by a right winger.

Great OP! Shows you just how racist liberals are and how degraded and diluted academia has become.

Can you imagine a "Problems with Negros" course?

I am and it's not common sense. It's biased based on one's opinion. Referred to as confirmation bias. Usually those are just the opposite of factual data.
But neither you nor I are going to count who's R or D and see who does more threads or whines more.

I don't tow any party line. I hate each party partisans equally.

Now I don't participate in every racial type thread, but the majority of them are started by self called RWers.
Maybe I just don't see or care about those lefties starting race threads.

I suppose you don't think the school had to approve of the class before it became a class. Too funny.

now you understand why our governor imposed a tuition freeze on the university for several years... they kept raising tuition above-inflation, to keep up with lavish professor pay, to bring in people like this, to teach courses like this... I wonder if they still offer that buffy the vampire slayer course, I mean, surely, that must, somehow, come in handy in life right, trying to figure out how buffy the vampire slayer impacts culture?

now you know why uw-madison is one of the top party schools in the nation... its a very expensive 4 year country club for young adults...

So some left-wing school administrator will read it? They'll probably buy this "teacher" a mocha latte as a gift.

This thread is about race peddling at a college regarding an African Studies course and the problem of whiteness, but you'd rather make it about me instead of African studies and the problem of whiteness. But in the world of today's liberals, pointing out their racism is considered racist.

BTW, what does one hope to learn in African studies courses? What have Africans done to better the world that we all need to learn about and copy?
