Of course the loser would say this. He has been wrong about everything else...might as well keep a perfect lead from behind failing record going strong, false narrative, going into his last days as the worst President ever. Yeah. He would have won. /snicker
"obama says he could have beaten Trump. " he could of, but we have a two term limit, while I would love to have Obama a third term, I would be against it as that could mean someone like Bush could of done a 3rd term in the future .
Over 200 hundred counties voted against Obama's policies that voted for them 4 years ago. I see the same this year no matter who the beast ran against. People wanted change. http://www.inklingsnews.com/b/2016/...y-flips-counties-previously-supporting-obama/
Sounds good until you look at the numbers. Clinton did win the popular vote, so change there wasn't that much. Trump out campaigned Clinton in the three deciding states, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, that there is no doubt. I just have a hard time seeing on someone who is disliked by approximately 60% of all America beating someone who is disliked by only 42% of all America. There is no way to be certain because it isn't going to happen, it is a good talking subject or thread. What ifs usually are.
When you consider California and NY, a total of about 5 million Clinton votes it's easy to see the vote count going Hillary. But I might add if the states actually split EC votes according to popular votes Trump or any candidate for that matter would have certainly campaigned differently.
If it was possible and Obama won the third term, would probably be a good thing. Why? So Obama can oversee the complete destruction of the Democrat party.
Again, if it happens, would probably be a good thing for America. To lose yet another thousand elected seats across the fruited plain would be a no easy feat to accomplish
I don't think it tells us anything about Russia's role or attempted role in Trump's victory. Putin had a vendetta against Clinton, and had Obama been eligible to run he may have tried to get dirt on Obama as well. So maybe Obama also thinks that in addition to being more charismatic than Clinton, there may also be less dirt to find. The Russians exposed dirt on Clinton without doing the same to Trump. The Russia thing isn't just an excuse to some, it's also a disturbing behavior by Russia regardless of whether the actual outcome was changed.
Who cares what the lame duck has to say. How many Republicans said they were going to beat him? How many in the MSM said Hillary was going to win ? Didn't barrack say Hillary was going to win ?
I thought Obama's statement was decidedly creepy. First, we all know a third run is constitutionally prohibited. So is he trying to send code to his rabble that the constitution should be changed so he can become a perpetually "elected" banana-republic-style leader? Or is he just inappropriately delusional.
When Hillary ran against Obama she lost. Obama has always had more pull. However, his luster has been tarnished quite a bit in his 8 years of presidency. I think his followers are loyal and would never admit to another that he has not lived up to the shining historical figure they originally believed in. But they also have eyes, and somewhere deep down inside, I think more than a few would have secretly voted for Trump.
Highly doubt it. The American populace has woken up dramatically over the past 8 years. Whatever ones ethnicity. Sure Obama, much like Clinton, would have won the States of California and New York. Both States which tend to generally vote liberal. And let´s not forget both Hillary and Obama´s own backyard,Illinois. Or dare I say Chicago, but w/o the inhabitants of Chicago,I´m a firm believer that the numbers would have been and possibly are, much different in rural Illinois. Much like those States bordering Illinois. You see, truth is Clinton never much cared about rural America,or the "Heartland", "Breadbasket" of America. Or to put it mildly, the working class "average Joe". But rather concentrated, deliberately, all of her efforts on campaigning only a few dozen or so States. Plus her arrogant thinking she had it in the bag from the get-go because she had the mainstream media, among others, right where she wanted them. In her back pocket. Truth is,America was and is sick and tired of the Obama agenda and the direction the country was and is headed in. And despite her past credentials, integrity being only one of them, here was a candidate that was saying openly and publicly that she wanted to carry on´the legacy of the Obama administration. So she lost, plain and simple. One day there will be a woman President, just not that woman.
I highly doubt it. The American populace are well aware of the past 8 years and what´s happened to America on President Obama´s watch. And are highly upset at the direction the country is headed in. And here we have a candidate, one that flat out lost, who wanted to further the Obama administrations policies. And what did the American people have to say about it? Well,I think we´d all agree that we know the answer to that question. Clinton ran a risk, but also knew of the risk involved. She may have the support of those in cities like Los Angeles,NYC and Chicago etc. But she forgot about rural America. Not to mention your "average Joe",and/or "American worker. And it seems that like her,Obama, arrogant as he is likes to think the American people would have voted for him if he could run for a third term in office. Again,I highly doubt it. The American people have spoken Mr. Obama. Are you not in touch with what´s going on,or paying attention?
You seem a lot smarter than the average liberal. You understand that when you change the rules it may bite you in the butt later. Thank you harry reid. Because of ole harry, now Trump can do anything he damn well pleases. Thanks again harry................
"obama says he could have beaten Trump" ------------------------------------------------------- In yer dreams mate, people had already had enough of 8 years of you and your babe Hillary, so a vote for Trump was a double shotgun blast, one barrel for you and the other for Hill..
Trump beat Tom, Dick and Harry in the primaries. Since Hillary represented the status quo, it might well be said that he Trumped Obama as well.
Obama was even begging his supporters with, "My legacy is on the line." LOL you are right....voters rejected Hills and Obama's policies. It just shows Obama's narcissism yet again in that he not only thought it, but actually verbalized it!
Definitely. Both candidates would have. The way I see it is in the three deciding states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, you can throw in Florida and North Carolina also. Trump out campaigned Clinton there. Trump made six or seven visits to Wisconsin, Clinton none, Trump did the same for Michigan, Clinton made it there once and so it goes. Visits to Florida showed Trump with 13 to Clinton's 8. From 1 Sep to 8 Nov I think the figures were 116 campaign rallies and visits by Trump to 71 for Clinton. But some of that 71 for Clinton included fund raisers in deep blue California and New York. Trump out campaigned her and in the last two weeks of the campaign, he stayed on message and threw twitter under the bus. Trump worked harder, Clinton probably thought she would win because she was next in line to be president. That money would decide the election like it usually does, she out spent Trump 2-1 although the official figures are yet to come.
Quite a lot of Democrats were dissatisfied with Clinton as their choice of candidates, not so with Obama especially in 2012. Across board Clinton did worst than Obama did in 2012 with almost every voting block or group. She ran 4-5 points behind Obama which made a huge difference although she dropped 3 points in the final vote tally from Obama's 51% to her 48%. Trump also did worst than Romney, Romney received 47% of the total vote, Trump 46%.
Obama's statement is a true testimonial to the man's arrogance and total lack of relationship with reality. Thanks Mr. Obama, YOU cost the democrat party 1000 legislative seats. This feeling of self importance does run in his family though. Michelle Obama, in her interview with Oprah Winfrey, appears to admit she will be entering a long period of depression because she sees no hope for this country now that Barry Soetoro is no longer president. Move somewhere else please.
I read that Clinton spent 17.00 per vote to Trumps 4.67 per vote. I remind you Obama also campaigned in Florida rather heavily in the days leading up to the election. Of course it was more to keep his 'legacy' alive than to pump up Clinton.
