2- doing away with colored and white only bathrooms
3- level playing field for emplyment regardless of race
4- fair treatment of Blacks registering to vote
5- called for the repeal of the poll tax
6- marched with Blacks to protest segregation in Selma Alabama
7- opposed George Wallace when George screamed "regregation yesterday, segregation now, segregation fie ever.

Of course you must remember all those things that the KKK did to promote brotherhood and fair treatment for all of God's children regardless of race. Yes you are correct since the KKK is a stinking liberal Democratic organization they did indeed promote all those great ideals I listed above.

Oh and these days the KKK is demonstrating for the reparations fior slavery but you must have missed that story unless you watch Fox News since Fox is the only network who reports about our heros the KKK.

Yup that s because thatv is the year the Southern strategy was born, after LBJ signed the Cuvil rights bills and the Democrats list the South fir the next 10 generations if not forever.

Democrats did little and in fact revoked Republican passed Civil Rights and as showed you even after the segregationist left the party and lost the election they were welcombed right back into the party and were re-elected as Democrats and served in high positions as Democrats.

Then FINALLY some Democrats realized it was a lost cause and gave up and supported Civil Rights and Voting rights. Only after win the Democrat segregationist lost and it was no longer an issue did any party switching occur.

Thats pretty odd you'd say that considering democrats ruled the south until the 90's or so. Just look at who were the governors and who controlled the legislatures in those southern states. Hint: it wasn't republicans.

What you are trying to do is suggest that conservatism (smaller government) is in some way associated with racism. Not only is it a false comparison, I believe the answer isn't one you want to hear. The answer is, as its origin, liberal. They want government to protect the "superior" white race. They were the militant arm of the DNC, who felt that the Government should interfere in private business and federal enforcement to segregate the races. You ask the question because you do not actually understand what conservative means... you think it means an ideology that does not exist to promote minorities as recompense for historical abuse.
