You know, I saw that promo as well, but it wasn't during the game, it was during one of the other shows on the same network.

Now, because I see all the problem it's caused, I'm gonna check out that particular episode to see what it really says. Just like other places, they give you enough on the promo for the show to get you to watch, usually by picking out the parts that look the most controversial.

I'll let you know how racist and anti Trump that particular episode of Blackish was after I watch it.

 

I couldn't help it. You seemed to be attacking me because I was making fun of a guy in a silly picture. A picture that was specifically taken to be laughed at. You seemed to be really going out of your way to defend the picture guy almost as if you knew him.
The "dig" was just too tempting. My character wasn't strong enough to ignore it.

 

Not many are enraged here. I haven't personally seen anyone enraged. I care just barely enough to note it here. Heck, when superbad and I agree on something, that 3 people are enraged? - I mean, come on.

You could look in the mirror for starters, then look around this very thread.

The better choice would be not to try offending a huge swath of one's core audience. But hey, that's just me.

Ahh wait a minute I see what happened and why the misunderstanding. I think you missed the beginning of the picture conversation.

That picture was posted because someone was trying to make fun of conservatives that watch NFL football. The guy in the pic was supposed to mockingly represent those conservatives. However someone accidentally posted a picture of a man with a soccer ball. Being that soccer is mainly a European sport and that Europeans are liberal when compared to Americans, I turned the joke around on him and said he inadvertently mocked liberals.

I didn't attack liberals unjustly. I just turned the tables on a guy attacking conservatives.

Now I have to stop with this conversation about that picture. If someone asked me what I did today I'd be really embarrassed to explain that I argued over a picture of a beer bellied guy watching a soccer game.

 

Well, they were certainly politically correct - how could they not be? OTH, the impact on ABC and the NFL will have a minimal impact on the net worth of current management. Note also that the true nature of of Kaepernick's complaints remain virtually ignored.

I DVR the show and in general i enjoy it.. The only episode i did not like was the "Cops are all racist" episode..

Funny show when they dont devote that episode soley to politics.

 

It's just a TV show, and comedy too. So what? And what do you know about who NFL fans are? I'm a hard core football fan who wants to play violent 1970s rules, I don't care about the players health and I don't care if their brains turn into mush, it was their choice to play. And I'm far to the left of Bernie Sanders on most issues.
