    Not only is this story most probably false but of the millions of receipts signed daily, a google search reveals, even counting false claims, incidents like this almost never happen. They are so rare they attract headlines?

    A vocal racist would have refused to sit in her section
    A passive racist would have just been rude and not tipped

    No one would complement her wonderful service and then say they don't tip black people, racists typically refer to them with much more colorful adjectives and would not tell one they had done a good job if their life depended on it.

    It's another lie in a long line of this type of incident, usually followed by a plea for money.

    This is obviously in England. And I tip anyone, but I'd never go give this woman money because of this note, just because OTHER PEOPLE are racist doesn't mean I plan to give even a penny to make up for THEIR RACISM, since I'm NOT RACIST. It's like reparations, I'd fight reparations to the death, never giving a cent! Because I didn't do anything wrong! F'em.
