Notwithstanding the size of his ego, I think he ran for the public exposure and didn't seriously think he would win. . . . When he saw he had a chance, he got carried away; right now he's just enjoying himself basking in the limelight.

Well, I think that Trump is more in love with the idea of being president than he is in actually doing the job. Instead of getting briefings and doing all the stuff for the transition, he spent that time doing a thank you tour.

And.....................there are at least 9 people who are supposed to be confirmed by the Senate for his cabinet that haven't filed their financial disclosure paperwork so they can be vetted.

Yeah. At some point, these "predictions" become a bit pointless...

Ah, yes. Fun times back then. Nice to see we've moved beyond such craziness... :roflol:

Yup. He's far smarter than people give him credit for. He's far more focused than people give him credit for. In short, if this election taught us anything, it should have been not to underestimate this guy. Well that, and Make America Great Again! :flagus:

That very well could be. I will say all we are doing here is, speculating. And personally, not to sound egotistical, I rather enjoyed my stomping boots comment.

If you seek and particularly achieve the Presidency, you are by definition a narcissist of epic proportions. Nothing new to see here.

. . . . And at some point, it is as pointless to point out that they are pointless as it is to continue gloating 2 months after the election.

Who would give ANYONE who has claimed bankruptcy so man times credit for ANYTHING?

It's almost to the point where I beoivevghe left secretly WANT 8 years of Trump. I mean surely they realize by now it's stupid things like this that won trump the election in the first place, right?

Jesus H Christ, I hope not, for America's sake. It would be like living with your starchy 1950's-esque grandparents for four years.

That thought has crossed my mind once or twice in recent weeks. As a lifetime believer in the intellectual superiority of the left (yes, to my shame), it's come as a very rude shock to realise that we're just as dumb as the other lot. Possibly dumber. Since the shock was so rude, I've toyed with the idea that it's all part of some cunning ploy .. with long range goals the proletariat can't yet see.

I find the gloating glorious, and I'm a leftie/democrat. There's nothing quite as cleansing to the soul and the palate as a good hard gloat, and we rarely have the opportunity to do it in such a harmless way, and to such a deep level of satisfaction. I've laughed more post November 8 than I have in quite a while ... thanks to youtube. And I'm laughing at my own side, remember. If you do something utterly stupid and embarrassing, I don't care what side you're on ... it's still funny.

At least one reasonable liberal has a sense of humor. Refreshing actually. America's hate for Hillary Clinton is not something new. She worked at it to achieve such status. She's a smug, belittling skankipotimus, not pleasing to either the ear or eye. She's grated on people's nerves for decades. She thinks she is above and beyond the little people. What is truly ironic, if not for her pandering to illegals, LBGT, BLM, and any other fringe org, she could pass for the old guard Republican Hawk and Wallstreet apologist. She's a vile and disgusting human being. You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time..............but........... :flagus::clapping:

Trump has said over and over again (at his rallies) that it's not about him it's about the people that support him. He wants to Make America Great Again, he will boost the economy and negotiate better world trade. The stock market is already starting to recover. Your construct of Trump being some kind of 'Scrooge' is completely and totally ridiculous.

Really? Did you look into your crystal ball? :roflol: Wait...Yes it's a CONSPIRACY.....The Russians....Yeah that's it.

Frankly If I were him...I'd not run for President of the U.S. He probably wields more power in the private sector. I think he is a fool for doing this actually....That's why I trust him.

Pence would make a fine Christian President, he would restore freedom of Religion guaranteed in the Constitution.

Still want to see Trump out?

This. Pence will be running the show behind closed doors, pulling Trump's strings. Which is what the GOP ultimately wants.

    - - - Updated - - -

Even if you get 8 years...the next Dem president could easily take a sledge hammer to Trump/Pence's legacy.

So...be careful what you wish for.
