In what I would describe as a bizarre, strange, and a bit sad denial of reality, Trump claims the author of the Pew report his folks, and himself, wrongly cite as evidence of voter fraud (which it actually says nothing about voter fraud) is groveling because, well, that reason is not really clear.

Tripping over his own inaccuracies, rather than clarify, the president does what he does best, makes stuff up about others and attacks them.

Clearly, to me anyway, the president is wrong, and he is used to being able to shout down actual facts that are inconvenient to him. That's all well and good when you are a caricature of yourself as a private citizens, but sadly, now as president, he simply comes off as ignorant, petulant, and willfully obtuse when he does this.

    http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/trump-voter-fraud-groveling-234187

He pointed to a Pew study that highlights outdated voter rolls, not illegitimate votes, and doesn’t include any references to non-citizens registering or voting. David Becker, the study’s author tweeted Tuesday, with a link to a New York Times report: “As I've noted before, voting integrity better in this election than ever before. Zero evidence of fraud.”

Trump, however, questioned why Becker would publish the report then and suggested he’s “groveling” by refuting the president’s claim.

“Then he’s — then he’s groveling again. You know, I always talk about the reporters that grovel when they wanna write something that you wanna hear but not necessarily millions of people wanna hear or have to hear,” Trump said. “We’re gonna launch an investigation to find out, and then the next time — and I will say this: Of those votes cast, none of them come to me. None of them come to me. They would all be for the other side. None of them come to me.”

Repeating his claim of dead people, illegal immigrants and concurrent registrations in separate states, he said, “We have a lot to look into.”

What are you afraid will be found with the investigation? Since California will not ask an illegal to ever prove their citizenship, how would you know if they vote or not? All you need in California is a drivers license which there have been more than a million of them given to illegals, along with an address, they would be able to vote in a federal election. There are millions of illegals in California

    Personally, I'm demanding an investigation.

Most voter fraud occurs in absentee ballots a venue dominated by Republicans.

    Let's go for it.

    Oh.

What the hell does that have to do with Trump's idiotic comments regarding the author of the report his cites erroneously?

It's all those military ballots from people stationed overseas. They go like 95% Republican there must be something wrong.

It's exceptionally clear. The person who wrote the report clearly is saying that Trump is wrong.
Trump and co are ones and again lying to the people... or presenting "alternative facts" if you will.

    A true politician.
    Not to be trusted.

"Florida Elections Worker: I Was Fired For Witnessing Possible Absentee Ballot Fraud" - http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/florida-elections-worker-alleges/2016/11/04/id/757191/

This took place in heavily Democratic Broward County: (you know - hanging chads - "I want a re-vote" - the ballot was confusing - etc)

It goes both ways. I don't care about Republican vs Democrat. If our votes are in question, so is our entire Democracy.

A *Study* with a pre conceived outcome that leaves out relevant information to achieve said outcome is not a "study" no matter how many like-minded people "review" it.

Nope. It's all those old people in nursing homes and operatives getting a vote from someone who doesn't even know his own name.

Investigate away! I demand it. Let's get this all out in the open.

A recent poll of people who don't know their own names revealed they also watch Oprah and Bill Maher.

Your own Progressive site says.. ". If that’s true"

Thanks for showing just the accusation from one of these sites is factual to you.

Learn the difference between factual and perception.

    More *facts* from that site

"Nobody knows precisely what happened at the North Carolina’s Orange County offices yet, but investigators are looking into the fire."

    Btw who firebombed it?

A GOP office in Hillsborough, North Carolina, was firebombed over the weekend, with a swastika and the words "Nazi Republicans leave town or else" spray painted on an adjacent building, according to local officials.
    No arrests have been made.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/16/politics/north-carolina-gop-office-vandalized/

    2nd link debunked

However, looks could be deceiving in this case. Florida will get won or lost in the I-4 Corridor, a series of counties that stretch across the middle of the state from the Gulf to the Atlantic. How do the absentee request figures look in those counties? Not all that bright for the GOP:

    Pinellas – Republicans +5,869
    Hillsborough – Democrats +1,058
    Polk – Republicans +6,694
    Osceola – Democrats +6,635
    Orange – Democrats +21,267
    Seminole – Republicans +2,300
    Volusia – Republicans +6,729

Thanks to the big gaps in Orange and Osceola, Democrats have an I-4 advantage of 7,368 ballots, or about a 40.2/39.3 percentage advantage. Worth noting: George W. Bush handily won Osceola in 2004 52.5/47, Hillsborough by 53/46.2, and came within 800 votes of winning Orange while taking the state 52/47. These seven counties account for over a third of all absentee ballot requests in the state of Florida.

If the I-4 Corridor still holds the key to the Sunshine State — and it’s almost certain to be won or lost in these seven counties — then Republicans might be at a serious disadvantage already, and better hope to win big among independents.

Proves nothing. 5 counties is not the state. Did you look across NW FL? SC? PA? MI? WI?

Trump wants an investigation. What are you afraid of?

You claim" Most voter fraud occurs in absentee ballots a venue dominated by Republicans. "

You then cite a story about a fire bombing that no one knows who did and a partial article about one state.

I provide information about the firebombing and show you more Dems in the state YOU brought up voted absentee and you claim i proved nothing?

The bottom link cover the entire state that YOU brought up.. So again can you back up your claim of "Most voter fraud occurs in absentee ballots a venue dominated by Republicans" or not?

If you can not why have you claimed it in multiple threads?

President Trump could have quoted the Immigration and Naturalization Service (NIS) investigation.

The investigation was conducted for just one Congressional District in California.

It has everything to do with it, and I agree with Trump. No one knows how many illegals voted because no one monitors it, and they can vote with a drivers license. So why are you against a investigation?

    - - - Updated - - -

I agree, let's go for it, because an illegal can vote absentee also.

There's likely going to be no investigation, just a "study"

    - - - Updated - - -

Normally you see evidence and then investigate. You don't investigate based on the president pushing a conspiracy theory.

Trump knows. It was 3,000,000 to 5,000,000. Sadly, he made those numbers up. Even more sadly, his followers seem to not recognize that.
