Ever wonder why Liberals care about the poor so much?

the democratic leaders only need them for staying in office..they do nothing to really help the poor..getting a few dollars each month doesnt do anything to seriously help them..

 

Conservatives, owners and bosses, pay for campaigns to put their cronies in power - set up laws getting their greedy enterprises deregulated - and then brag when they throw a tax write-off pittance to the poor. Be on the side of the people, i.e, the majority - not the one-percent. Learn to have a heart.

 

It's nothing but an act, from my dealing with the left, their top priority is themselves and no one else counts in a clinch! Just take a moment and look around they prove my point continuously!

 

Sorry.......the middle class is no longer buying your bull(*)(*)(*)(*). There are not enough 1%ers to carry the weight of that load. Guess who pays the majority of taxes? Not only is the middle class shrinking, they get raped by taxation.
People making between 75,000 and 200,000 account for much of the entire bucket of taxes due to their numbers. The elite pay plenty as it is, but they and the middle class can not support the 47% who don't pay dick.

 

This is probably one of the most thorough, balanced assessments I've seen. The only other thing I've noticed is that conservatives are more likely to actually donate their own money, despite the prevalence of "every man for himself" philosophy among conservatives. And it isn't just limited to donating to their religious causes; conservatives are even more likely to donate blood than liberals are. So conservatives tend to see it more as an individual issue, leading to the fact that you'll find both a larger group of callous people there and a larger group of individual donators there, whereas liberals are more likely to see it as a collective responsibility, meaning they are less likely to donate themselves, less likely to express a callous attitude, and more likely to be okay with their taxes being raised to cover programs that benefit the poor.

 

They don’t care about the poor, they care about the voting block! They make promises to the poor and support the give away programs that trap them in poverty. They never fulfill any of their promises that relate to helping the poor to find a way out of poverty, only the promises for more government subsistence to trap them in poverty.

Tax the rich so they take their jobs elsewhere, do not punish the criminals in the poor areas so the crime rates stay high, don’t allow any alternatives to government supplied education which sucks in the inner cities, and I could go on and on and on!

 

Yet oddly enough the people who donate their time to the poor are overwhelmingly liberals. When I was in the Peace Corps in 1980 we held a mock election and Anderson won, Carter 2nd and Reagan was beat out by Pat Paulson and Captain Kirk.

 

The liberals care about the poor the way a hog farmer cares about his hogs. Every black murder victim in Chicago is a tribute to Democrat caring. Every person, largely the poor, sentenced to a non-performing school is a victim of liberals. Every poor person who wants to work and is unemployed is a victim of liberals. Every poor child living without a father in their life is a victim of liberals.

If you wanted to plan the destruction and misery of the poor could you do better than destroying the family unit that helps people rise out of poverty, deny an education that helps people rise out of poverty, deny them the work that allows the poor to rise.

The liberals care about the poor exactly as a hog farmer cares about your ham.

 

Do they ask your political preference when you give blood, label the bottle socialist or conservative. Another fake poll.


A good government serves its people, its entire people, amongst all the services it provides is a safety net for the poor. There are many reasons for falling into poverty and no one chooses to fall below the poverty line.
If you want one example of a country without a safety net then go back to the America of the thirties and the dust bowl in Oklahoma when nature itself cast so many into poverty.
Steinbeck wrote ‘The Grapes of Wrath’ on the subject and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literate but the book was burned and banned in the USA and labelled communist just for telling the truth.

Ask yourselves a question, do you want your tax spent on giving millions to those who already have millions, or go to those who are desperate for help?

Comparing the Peace Corps to a private charity is folly. But yes you are correct liberals want to be paid for their charity but want to forcibly take it from others.

 

How are my tax dollars given to people who already have millions?

I want my federal tax dollars to go to the proper functions of the federal government. Providing lifetime middle class lifestyles to able bodied citizens is not one of them.

Yeah Baby! Those Peace Corps volunteers are rolling in it. But the big money is in donating your services to a free clinic and don't get me started on the soup kitchen people...LOADED!

 

There are people with incomes in the millions that pay no taxes yet receive the benefits of those that do pay.

 

They care for the same reason the care for blacks. They want their votes and thats about it. They would be in trouble if there werent so many poor people dependent on the government

 

Conservatives - members off the one-percent, or their apologists - contribute only when they need a tax write-off. If you look at charitable contributions not in absolute monetary terms, but as percentages of the contributors' incomes, the rank and file, wage-slaves all, give infinitely more than the bourgeoisie.
