Parenthetically, I don't differentiate much between one oil company and another. They are necessary 'evils', but that description could also apply to many businesses throughout the world. I yearn for the day when we finally we dispense with oil for use as anything but a lubricant, but that day is nowhere near... and it's been proven to me that oil companies -- ALL oil companies, and the politicians they own -- have silently worked together to make certain it stays that way for a long, long time to come....
