Nice to see you believe in equal protection under the law.

What? We aren't free to express ourselves? Why should only flag burners be allowed to? Cause they are on your side.

I believe we've watched flag burning just become that "kewl" thing that punks do not even knowing why they're doing it, and I love watching it get stopped. The flag means something to many of us, much more than the tantrums of punks.

Couldn't agree more. But even little punks deserve the same protection. They need it even more, because thier punks.

The guy was simply being a pompous busybody interfering in denying other people's constitutional rights. The thug cops didn't see anything wrong with them burning the flag, which is surprising since we know how trigger happy they are. The Fedex guy could have called and reported a public disturbance. He committed aggravated robbery in the video.

You mean that song that boasts about killing slaves who wanted to be free by fighting for their own freedom?

It will only become legal to do so if another set of snowflakes get their precious little way.

That's the beauty of free speech: it discourages idiots from hiding.

They reason they are doing it is because it stands for such a hateful targeted act.

Veterans, the military, honor, love for America, these are icons of the Right and the objects of outrage for the Left.

Protesting Trump's Presidency by burning the American flag is no different than protesting Obama's Presidency by burning something that stands for ideals the Left cherish ...such as the rainbow flag.

I'm with this FedEx guy ...nobody is going to burn a US flag in front of me.

And it it comes to spending a few days in jail because I had to pop some dbag hipster radical Leftist anti-American in the face in order to put a stop to it then that's a small price to pay for standing up to an act of such hateful domestic terrorism.

That's what standing for something means.

How 'bout some patriotic Americans at an anti-illegal immigration protest rally (that they applied for and received a permit to protest on that site) and see how it works when they burn a Mexican flag.

Don't you know? They'd call you a Nazi and they say violence against the Nazis is fine and in fact encouraged. Of course when murderous commies, socialists and anarchists burn the American flag, they call it "free speech" and violence against the socialists, commies and anarchist is an attack on free speech.

It's a very convenient socialist, communist and anarchist theory that violence against them is wrong but their violence is justified cause whoever is not with them is a Nazi/Racist/KKK/Mysoginist

Some people lost family fighting for the right to express the freedom to burn the flag. It's a disgrace some feel the need to take that away.

A threat to what? Besides free speech. A USSC constitutionally supported right. So this isn't about your fake morals, its about the constitution.
But I know, RWers don't want to abide by the constitution. Thanks once again for pointing that out.

We must be watching different sporting events. I'm talking about the song inspired by the events at Fort Henry where men died protecting the flag.
AND... It wasn't slaves - it was prisoners held by the British. But they decided their freedom wasn't worth dishonoring the flag.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaxGNQE5ZLA

PS: My anthem is about a flag, the people who gave all protecting it and the nation that honors their sacrifice in song.
Sorry your anthem is about killing slaves. You might want to do something about that.

The message board nazis, gimps, and sundry other less-capable-than-three-day-old-poop folks are hard at work with their convoluted machinations disguised as cogent thought, I see.

It keeps them off the streets, I suppose.

Burning the flag is not free expression, burning the flag is essentially taking an entire shat on the country. Shat on the government? Sure, but shatting on the country? Low blow. They're free to do it, but it's just sad.

It is purely free expression. Why should we assume that a country is sacred and cannot be criticized?

It's a stupid piece of coloured cloth, probably made in the United States of China. Get over it.

Conservatives view everything as a threat; gays, blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, women...burning a flag made in China.

The people that oppose flag burning have an equal right to self expression...and I didn't see anyone being knocked out.

Oh that's a nifty degrading remark, modular too so you can customize it to whomever you are talking to. A Gay Conservative you can say they view blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, women...burning a flag made in China as a threat.

A Black Conservative? They view gays, Mexicans, Muslims, women...burning a flag made in China as a threat.

    Kinda neat.

Of course when you say it the way you did, it sounds as though you think all Conservatives are white men.

    Hell, there's even Chinese Conservatives.

Only an ignorant knot head would burn the flag of his own country in public.
