Don't be ridiculous. When the UN stupidly gave into pressure there were something like 180,000 Muslims and Christians and 60,000 Jews the vast majority very recent immigrants. Given that they have larger families they ought to massively outnumber Jews now but look instead are just about the same number.

Some of that did come because of fears being projected onto them, just like the US now projects fears of ISIS terrorists onto all Muslims. Some Arabs did become Zionists and were eventually able to join Israel. Many Jewish Arabs however were extremely loyal citizens of their states. Eventually they moved usually to other parts of the world than Israel. One of the greatest tragedies of Zionism is that it has destroyed the way the ME had been able to function on non sectarian lines for hundreds of years.
