Just saying, but this is like the equivalent argument of, "oh yeah"? It also seems a stretch then to leap from the conversation about what the US code defines as illegal residency to your willingness to display how clever others you've read were and regurgitated their musings as your own. I know there's word for this.... but I digress.

See, originality of thought counts for something. You simply don't produce any. You seethe, you gyrate in hysterical cliché gymnastics, and yet, fundamentally, you still can't produce a solid argument. You probe, you retreat, you deflect, and retreat, but you always return to the ability to introduce some smarmy sharky identity comment. Frankly, it sounds like your own issue, clearly best left to professional analysis.

So, you rant away seemingly attempting to throw anything against the wall of our conversation to see what, if anything is capable of sticking. Ok, so how's it going so far? You still don't seem willing to acknowledge that for you at least, labor exploitation is fine. It's just okie dokie for you. You get a little chub knowing your barista is beneath you? Seems that way. Honestly, the only person in this conversation that seems to have an issue with "brown people" is you, as you've identified it repeatedly.

So, what remains, seems to be your own willful racism. There is no other explanation.

Sure start away from your own self, that always works. Make someone else responsible for your own irresponsible, entitled behavior. I can see what this chap wrote didn't resonate at all?

I am old as well, and what he said is clearly and easily observable if one has lived when people had a different perspective than many people do today. But understand one thing. The kind of perspective one has does matter, for one kind of perspective will yield a healthier society and mentally healthier people, as well as either a greater or a lessor morality. Since personal morality affects others in either a positive, constructive manner, or in a negative, destructive manner it has importance when it comes to daily life.

The Left today are not liberals. But something else entirely, in that they are authoritarians, with their speech being the only free exercise of speech. A liberal never was authoritarian. But these Lefties really have no clue what liberalism is. They are the result of thinking being responsible, is for losers, that only what they think is valid, or matters, and that the world owes them something, as the world should never expect anything from them. This is clear when you listen to them. Just as it was clear you want to blame trump for the destructive behavior coming from these leftists. Don't blame me they say, it is trump's fault for my behavior. Just like my kids acted when they were 5, and before they were taught by words and example to be individuals, responsible human beings, who respected other people when they were not just like oneself.

We can expect this group to turn on sanders because he is an old white guy with 3 homes. So the left is lost. But they do not know what they lost.

In order to obtain a visa, people must prove that they are citizens of another country, or aliens. Any person who's citizenship is towards the US, that refuses to serve a foreign country or be a citizen of a foreign country, is unable to obtain a Visa.

These people are then called "illegal" or "forbidden by law" (without any basis in law) and denied any ability to travel or establish their trust or citizenship on paper with the US.

It is a form of discrimination (or racism) against a group of people that are being told that they must be citizens of another country or that they must work against their citizenship to prove that they are aliens and foreign citizens in order to be granted a piece of paper that awards them the right to see America as an "alien."

:gun::wall: :salute: Legally forcing people to strengthen foreign countries is always a great way to improve America; in the eyes of the people.

Indeed. The alt right is completely fuelled by fake news so they have no rational means of becoming good citizens.

Interesting to note that the OP failed to address the complete and utter lack of any semblance of "rational thinking" when it came to electing an airhead like Trump. It was 100% pure emotion and not a positive one either that drove those voters.

Perhaps the OP would have more credibility if they chose to be fair minded about the irrationality and emotive passions on their own side of the aisle because if ever there was quicksand it would be based upon a political ideology held by a shrinking population demographic.

So, from your perspective, there is then some pool of folks who have no citizenship at all that we are ignoring? The conversation is about how the US categorizes, not how foreign nations provide proof of citizenship. In this nation, absent permission foreign citizens are considered as being in this country illegally.

Making the assertion that this is "racist" seems problematic as the law doesn't categorize. It simply creates the standard. We can test this. Say you have two citizens of South Africa. Both come in on tourist visas, One is of African heritage, the other European. Both overstay their visa terms. Both are then illegally in this country. There is no differentiation between them. Both would be subject to the law, equally.

So- you believe that rational thinking must agree with what you believe- your personal opinion is the standard by which all things should be judged.
That's a standard that dominates most of this stupidity, isn't it?

And good citizens would support the idea that the nation is no stronger than it's people.
That dependence and lack of personal responsibility are characteristics of weak people, and should not be promoted.
That every individuals first duty is to themselves, so that they become strong, do not become a burden to others, and develop the capacity to care for family and nation.
That they are aware of both good and evil in the world- and exercise caution in their relationships, to keep their families and nations safe.
They would believe in the principle that you are entitled to the fruits of your labor- but not entitled to the fruits of the labor of others.
That you are entitled to the chance to succeed if you can- but are not entitled to success because you exist.

I know those idea will sound like more fake news to you, and will be irrational. Perhaps- that is what fuels the bad behavior. Bad thinking, the belief that only your perception is relevant. Certainly when you can't see daylight, that is all that is visible to you.

One more time Beverly, when you quote and remove part of the original it is customary to acknowledge the missing text with an ellipsis.

    AND

Such an action is ONLY permissible if the omitted text is irrelevant to the discussion.

Failure to follow these protocols is dishonest and renders your post unworthy of an actual response.

Ironic given the inane partisan bias in the OP that fallaciously attempted to indict, judge and condemn only the left for failings that both sides share in equal measure.

I put racism in parenthesis because those two seemed to be discussing a discriminating topic with the word racism.

I'm talking about US Citizenship and how it demands a strong foreign citizenship of people.

In your example of South Africa, you've already removed those two people from having a choice in what country or nation they serve, by telling them that they are citizens of Africa. At the same time, even though you have just told them that they are citizens of Africa, you demand that they prove and establish that they are citizens of Africa, by telling them that they must have strong ties to Africa.

This is different from other people that claim not to serve the nation of Africa.

Effectively, the United States is requiring people to create a fake citizenship that is not a US Citizenship, based on their physical location and absense of documentation that removes them from being classed as "people that are not authorized by law" or "illegal."

There is little to no legal method by which these people in Africa can prove themselves as US Citizens without being forced to become Foreign Citizens or Aliens.

I'm not interested in African or European heritage, beyond how it resides in us all in the US.

Fake citizenship? At this point, what's the point of having the conversation? Folks born not of citizens of the US don't have a right to claim US citizenship. Do you understand this?

Yes. You are talking about physically being born into a nationality.
    That's impossible.

At the same time, the point of having the conversation is to address possible avenues that people may undertake to recognize their mutual citizenship to The United States.

We can point a gun to people's heads and tell them that they must serve a nation other than The United States,
but then who are we representing?

People have the right to claim any citizenship that they want.

My concern is with the lack of instruction on how to represent The United States, and to travel as equals, without representing a foreign nationality or an alien identity. Nationality isn't a physical thing and people will naturally claim to serve a nation that they wish to prove themselves to. Citizenship is natural when people LIKE our nation.

If the nation they LIKE tells them that they are alien at birth, citizens of a foreign country, etc., because of the very fact that they were born physically, or because of their parents, and that they have no say on the matter:
then that's a good reason for one of us to point out that it is impossible to undo our birth.

    We can choose what nation to serve or represent, however;
while our citizenship is born naturally from our experiences and choices.

If you are saying that we should deny people the right to state their allegiance,
or to claim that it is to US people, then I would disagree.

Actually, they do not. Folks have to ask for the privilege to become a citizen of a different nation. Citizenship is not a right unless granted by birth. This is the standard around the world and is an inherent function of government to ensure. As a nation, we have the right, and the obligation to manage immigration to our nation.

Folks are clearly offered the opportunity to request entry to this nation, and enjoin the legal process to become citizens of this nation. They must meet our requirements, and they must demonstrate their willingness to adopt our cultural and political process and support it. But that is fundamentally, not a right to do so. Which, of course, is not different than any other nation around the globe.
