I just answered this then when I posted, it disappeared - presumably because you were editing yours at the time - and can't be bothered to re-write my post. And anyway, as it wrote in the disappeared one - I still don't really know what you're harping on about.

Yeah sorry about that. Crossed wires.

The original OP was making allegations that Obama was undertaking a conspiracy to undermine the Trump administration, orchestrating the resignation of Flynn and the withholding of information by the intelligence community (causing team Trump's public gaffes)

This is very similar to the depiction of "Snowball" by "Napoleon" in the George Orwell novel Animal Farm. This a famous satirical novel that mirrors the events of the Russian Revolution, with Snowball representing the idealist Trotsky/Lenin and Napoleon representing Stalin and the corruption of the idealistic cause for political power and greed. Napoleon is assisted by "Squealer", who represents Molotov and the propaganda machine.

Short-story-even-shorter, Napoleon drives out Snowball, and Squealer amends the history of Snowball to make him out to be a traitor. Further, any problems after that, which are actually the failings of Naploeon's leadership, are blamed on a conspiracy by the absent, traitorous Snowball.

Ok so why are we returning to Obama IS (note that's is and not has) ruining this country? Isn't Drumpf politically invincible at this point? He speaks truth. He wins elections. He knows how to bring peace and prosperity. He can do no wrong.

So with all of that, why are you speaking of a person who has left the political stage as a threat to him?

By the way. I'm not calling Drumpf's presidency a disaster yet. I want to see truly disastrous things happen first. Mishandling of a natural disaster. Being dragged into another war. Higher rates of poverty. More man made ecological disasters. Hey, I'll even be open minded and say the opposite may happen (however unlikely I feel that is).

So understand that I'm not whining. But the OP and this guy from the link are whining if they are making accusations THIS early in the Drumpf presidency.

Now I understand. That's one of the Orwell novels I didn't get around to reading.

How about you post statistics from a real source; like the Swedish government? Instead we get right-wing, anti-Muslim propaganda from the likes of American 'Thinker'. Hardly impartial, wouldn't you agree? Then again if it suits your own agenda what else are you going to do? Here; allow me:

We had to do it for school. I didn't like it much then.

For quite a long time I thought it was a kid's story! Well the title is rather Enid- Blyton'ish? [IMG]

I think it was a children's story, actually, but the subtleties need a mature mind to appreciate. They had a problem with the 1999 film, in that the screenplay was too dark for kids but they oversimplified for adults.

My daughter read it at 12 and then re-read it at 14, and remarked about how much she missed first time around.

It's often the way with classical literature; I've read one or two Dickens books more than once, and HG Wells. But then I've done so with books by more contemporary authors too, and realised how much I 'hadn't read' on the previous occasions? I so love reading.

Former President Obama ... to replicate the community organizing techniques Obama learned from the teachings of his fellow Chicagoan, Saul Alinsky. What is Organizing for Action? It is a less violent version of Mussolini's black shirts and Hitler's brown shirts, or of the government-supported goon squads that Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Cuba's Castro brothers used to harass and intimidate their domestic opponents.

Providing of course Trump has the ability to understand and use his executive functions. So far that is not in evidence.

    True.

And, I would put the odds of Obama being arrested in this matter at about 500 Quintillion to 1.

And, those odds are probably low.
