I understand that you are trying to credit Jesus with something that he deserves no credit for. He has a lot of historical importance, but he never spoke a word against slavery and the Bible repeatedly supports slavery in both testaments. Hell, according to the Bible, God invented slavery.

actually he created the equality of souls which led to democracy, America, and ultimately the freeing of our slaves and more recently the freeing of 1.4 billion people in China from liberal govt.

He wasn't the first to propose that humans were equal, democracy predates Jesus by several centuries and the Bible explicitly supports the divine right of kings, which goes against democracy.

According to the Bible, our Founding Fathers committed a heinous sin by rebelling against the British crown (Romans 13)

Again, the Bible never condemns the institution of slavery. It says God invented it in the first place.

    . . . o . . . k?

ok you agree that Christian American freedom presented China with an example they could not resist and so they set 1.4 billion people free who now are far more likely to trade with us than kill us? Did you think the Girl Scouts caused this??

The concept predated Jesus. The Zoroastrians had it. So did Buddhists.

Where do you get the idea that there was an "eternity of slavery"?

Slavery didn't exist until organized agriculture did.

I disagree. Jesus of Nazareth was a great Rabbi and Prophet. Christianity is more concerned with "Christology" than with the actual teachings of Jesus, which were radical for his time. Most people do not really understand who the historical Jesus was because they imagine he is as Christianity presents him. The historical Jesus, an apocalyptic Jewish prophet, would be unrecognizable to modern Christians if they were to meet him.

In other words the problem is not Jesus....it is Christians and Christianity?

    I can agree with that.

So Christians are a problem because they invented and promoted the equality of souls, liberty, democracy, and America?? How much sense does that make?? Really?

American liberalism in its genious would want Hitler Stalin Mao Castro Pol Pot Osama Bin laden to be the world's policeman rather than Christian America. See why we must be positive that liberalism is based in pure ignorance. Is any other conclusion possible. What is it?

Wrong. Again you post the same incorrect statement.

When Jesus sent his disciples on their first solo mission, he sent them to their fellow Jews because that was an easier audience. They were prepared for Jesus message - they understood Judaism, they had already experienced John the Baptist, and so they already knew the foundations of Jesus message.

The Gentiles had no such foundation and would be a much harder audience.

The Samaritans were descended from the Jews who were taken to Assyria in 722 BC, the Samaritans returned after the Babylonians defeated the Assyrians but the Samaritan religion had been corrupted. Samaritans and Jews did not get along at all, they would be a difficult and hostile audience.

Later, Jesus sent them out to all people.

Good point.... plus I also believe that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus is the being of light of NDE fame who is meeting with people from all religions....... even Atheism....... and being so polite and loving to them that they come back and live a profoundly changed life.

The OP apparently believes his particularly religion, Christianity, has a patent, copyright and trademark on love, freedom, moral behavior, truth and righteousness, among other things.

    He's a funny guy.
