You seem to forget that WI, MI, and PA (you forgot the biggie) were Democratic standbies in most elections.
Perhaps you guys should develop policies that are beneficial to everyone. Your attempts at holding a coalition of voting blocks failed.
Let me give you a list of liberal-progressive values as I see them. 1) Endlessly pontificating and arrogantly talking down to America about our values. 2) Endangering peaceful, law-abiding people by harboring dangerous criminals in your sanctuary cities 3) Inhibiting free speech 4) Dividing America with your identity politics 5) Disrespecting hard-working Americans 6) A belief that the Constitution is outmoded and should be ignored 7) Knuckling under to rioters while persecuting the police 8. Enabling and empowering "permanent Washington" 9) Using federal agencies as political weapons 10) Open borders to people from anywhere, come one, come all 11) As you have advocated, throwing money at problems that just gets squandered and stolen and achieves nothing Again, good luck with that....
And astroturf. Don't forget, the key to your upcoming victory is lots and lots of astroturf. It fools everyone! SPONTANEOUS DEMONSTRATIONS ALWAYS FEATURE PRE-PRINTED SIGNS! You are of course referring to the 3 million undocumented ILLEGAL Aliens that Jerry Brown needs to keep his governorship.
The TEA Party was a true organic revolution, within the GOP, against the Democrats and the GOP Leadership. The TEAR Party is an astroturfed anti-Trump movement.
Energize blacks in Detroit and Milwaukee to turn out in 2012 Obama-style numbers. Figure out Western PA, so a 2016-style travesty doesn't repeat itself.
1. And if Trump doesn't fail then what. 2. equals lie and hope no one notices that most the bad trade deals were done by democrats. 3.. and lie some more promise more money for inner city jobs but pass another stimulus the chief purpose of which will be to reward democrat donors
She lost Pennsylvania. You have to go back to 1988 to find the last time a Republican won PA. PA and OH are bookends. Democrats win the big cities and surrounding counties and lose the rest of the state. In OH the big Dem win is Cuyahoga County. In PA it's Philadelphia County. Blacks didn't show up in Cleveland and Obama / Hillary lost the union vote in the suburbs and the coal mining vote in Eastern Ohio and Western PA. Also notable was Obama / Hillary miscalculation that Cuban-Americans would vote like other Hispanics after Obama rewarded Castro for the genocide against their family members.
Democrats have their hands full today choosing the next DNC Chairperson: Islamonazi Keith Ellis or Socialist-Fascist Tom Perez.
What I believe is Democrats are letting conservatives show how absurd they really are, and always have been. Democrats have to go into inner cities, and not just the big metros. If Democrats can show how ridiculous conservative sewer rats like McConnell and Pence are, it will begin to build faith in the brand. And keep Hillary Clinton out of a 2020 run.
All the Democrats have to do is nominate a decent candidate. If they had done so in 2016 they would have had a Democrat in the White House today. They would have won the presidency by 10-15 points. Nobody liked Trump outside of his avid supporters, but to the Democrats peril, no one liked Clinton outside of her avid supporters.
I'm not sure I know how to ensure a Democratic win in the next presidential election, but I am fairly sure about my thinking on what Dems can do to ensure another loss: * Select a candidate prior to a single vote being cast in a primary. * Nominate a truly unlikable, downright corrupt candidate who is either unwilling or unable to make a case for the direction he/she would like to take the country. * Ignore the electoral map, focusing again on California, New York, and Massachusetts. (News flash: Dems can win 100% of the votes in those three states and still lose the presidential election). * Fail to address lingering concerns about the party's mode of operating, especially the use of media and Hollywood personalities to push their political agenda. * Run yet another candidate who lacks integrity, character, and good judgement. * Ignore the youth vote. Thus far, I see no indication that Dems are taking corrective action on these issues, but there's still time...
I'm referring to the three million extra voters that gave California to Clinton by three million votes. Those extra votes were wasted. I don't butly into that "three million illegals voting" nonsense. Maybe a few dozen voted not three million.
Democrats can win in 2020 by putting up a candidate voters actually like. The fact that they lost to Trump is f*****g sad.
I think the democrats should look at europes social-democratic parties and take topics like cheaper or free education and health care for everyone at the agenda. At the same time they should not go for identity politics, I think the min reason beside hillary clinton as a unpopulr candidate was the support of the regressive left mainly existing at universities. Their anti white, but also anti male agenda influenced the dp negtivly. 2020 they should go for political contents instead of speculting that non white non male americans will vote them by calling donld trump a racist, a sexist and a white supremacist
Why didn't Blacks go out, and vote for Hillary, like they did for Obama? Could it have something to do with race?
If Trump's agenda really does bring back jobs to the rustbelt, then I think it might be out of the Democrat hands.
1) Assumes something will happen that has not happened yet. 2) Something the Trump Administration is doing anyway. 3) So that the Democrats can win the popular vote again by rolling up big majorities in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles? What good will that do? Big popular vote majorities in states the Republicans won't win and don't need to win the presidency.
They may stop being libs once they get out of their California bubble and see with their own eyes what's going on in the country.
