https://capitalresearch.org/article/the-racist-labor-secretary-tom-perez-is-said-to-be-near-the-top-of-hillary-clintons-vp-list/ On the shortlist of potential Democratic running mates filled with senators and governors, one name stands out for its obscurity. Tom Perez? Who? . . . Perezs liberal credentials are as impeccable as they come. [The leftist magazine] Mother Jones called him one of the administrations most stalwart progressives. Conservative policy experts who have followed his work in the Justice and Labor Departments consider him perhaps the Obama administrations most radical and relentless ideologue. Iain Murray, the Competitive Enterprise Institutes vice president of strategy, calls Perez possibly the most dangerous person in the administration right now. His rewriting of U.S. labor law is probably the most fundamental attack on the free-enterprise system going on at present, Murray says. If he has his way, we wont just revert to the 1930s. Well do things that even Franklin Roosevelt couldnt do, like eliminate vast numbers of independent-contractor jobs and unionize those that remain. Murray sees Perezs ideological vision as driven by an arrogant insistence that most workers are oblivious to their own exploitation by employers, and need the state to intervene to help them understand proper work-life balance or to make basic choices about work. His work in the Justice Department was just as extreme. He essentially operationalized Eric Holders radicalization of the Department of Justice, says Ilya Shapiro, a senior fellow in Constitutional Studies at the Cato Institute. No civil-rights theory too crazy to pursue, no litigants too awkward to pay off. Perez has shown a glaring inability to tell the truth and dispassionately apply the basic constitutional tenet of equal justice under law, declared Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
He's going to head up the DNC and will further radicalize the Democrat party. The Dems lost because no one believes their BS anymore they are finished. They'll still make a lot of noise but that's all. Of course President Trump will be keeping an eye on Perez.
Goof Radical. Talk about an Oxymoron wow!! The DNC is going to go further left and while hardening their base will end up driving whatever moderates they have left out of the party. Hard to win the Presidency with just the Northeast and California in your pocket...
Sanders had a better chance when Hillary most definitely but the DNC had the fix in for Hillary and after shafting her for Obama eights year back Bernie had NO chance. . Clamoring for a leftist however is a mighty far stretch. As far as winning, well I guess it depends on how many societal parasites come out and vote and then in which States.
A new user with 18 posts (and a username that screams flamebait) throwing shade at the new head of the DNC. What a novel concept. Perez was no more (or less) "dangerous" than the average person appointed to a cabinet in the last 45 administrations.
Hey, buddy. I'm not the one who wrote the article. This is the Political Opinions & Beliefs section, I don't really care if you consider this thread or my username flamebait.
