Navy punishes Special Ops group for flying Trump flag

We'd better keep politics out of the military. Hitler had his own SS troops. Here's a picture of our own Marines with an SS flag in Afghanistan. I think they were punished too. Probably celebrated by Faux News, of course.

One day we had to wear our military dress uniforms off base in Memphis, only time there ordered to do so, and were reminded in the Plan of the Day that we could not attend political rallies in uniform, Reagan had a rally, so we were not allowed to go even in civilian clothes. Later my absentee Georgia ballot was sent to Antarctica, I was not in Antarctica, so I was not allowed to vote for Raygun and Max Cleland for Secretary of State.

 

Heres a pretty funny thing that happened to me. I got real drunk one night before a big test going through avionics photo school in Pensacola . I was so drunk I mistook the Wave barracks for mine as they were right next door to each other. I went in the rear entrance and went to what I though was my room and got undressed and passed out in bed. I was woken when some of the Waves came in and I grabbed my clothes and ran out the back door. But they convinced me to come back in. Thats the last thing I remember until I woke up handcuffed to a couch in the lobby while a couple of SPs talked to the Wave in charge at around 6am. They took me to the brig where I sat for a while then they told me the head of the school ha called and asked they release me and let me take a big test that was scheduled that morning so they delivered me to the school. After the test I was told to report to the Sr Marine and he told me they were investigating the matter and that he would get back to me. A few weeks went by and I figured the matter was over but then I got another call tom report to the Sr Marine. He asked if it was true I spent a whole night in the Wave barracks and I reluctantly had to admit that yes it was true. His response was that seeing that this is upholding the highest standards of the Untied States Marine Corps you are now promoted to lance corporal. Of course I was due for the promotion but I guess he wanted to have some fun with it
