Who told you that pile of BS. It was a highly risky military operation that had been planned as a contingency, but ordered by President Obama not to occur, because it was not worth American lives. US boots had not been on the ground in Yemen in 2 years.

Trump gets into office and that is what changed, not weather conditions. Man, conservatives are gullible and believe all the BS that Trump claims... So do you think Obama's birth certificate was fake? Was Trumps inauguration the largest crowd ever? Did millions of illegals vote and thousands and thousands of people bussed in from MA to vote in NH? Yea, the weather changed.... Face the fact that Trump looked at those contingencies, wanted to be "Bold" and a "War President" and did not value that dead soldiers life, so his metrics changed the risk analysis and he ordered the raid.

TRUMP FAILED and KILLED a US SOLDIER. Conservatives are willing to repeat lies for him to cover it up. Exactly what this post is about. That is why republicans win, they manipulate their supporters and play a lie based game better than democrats. But conservatives are willing to accept this manipulation as well, as long as they feel it is for their "team", "Team GOP". Now watch the conservatives all of a sudden want to spend a Trillion on infrastructure and billions more on defense and create Trillion dollar annual deficits, like at the end of the Bush presidency.

Really, is that all it takes for you to dismiss all of Trumps lies? That whole, CNN is fake news, so now I don't have to actually care about facts anymore? We know for a fact the raid was approved by Trump, not Obama. Unnamed military people involved in the raid have spoken to Reuters, I don't think Reuters is lying when they claim these officials said Trump approved the raid without sufficient intelligence.

And I see you don't answer the other questions. The series of lies from Trump I repeated.. Why are you accepting that? Or are they all just things the media lies about?

Well, we know the left never worried about lies until Trump became President. Certainly never worried about fake news before.

No, trump knows how to dodge responsibility, and his sycophants eat it up. Using that gold star family as a prop is just ridiculous. Unless you're a trump apologist, then it was simply a case of winning. Pathetic.

I didn't know we reserved the use of our elite Navy Seals for only soft targets. But honestly I have to ask are people really unaware that military operations are dangerous? Did his dad think the Navy Seals was a summer camp for people to send their kids to? They say the mission yielded important and valuable intel, now of course they aren't disclosing any details on exactly what that intel was but was as valuable as they said it was then it was worth capturing. It's pathetic to hear people fuss that one guy in the military actually got killed, maimed, or captured and then auto-blame the sitting President for it (or worse the soldier). Is our Nation really this soft? I thought we were supposed to be the best of the best, apparently not because one guy had something bad happen to him despite the thousands of enemy combatants we dominate on the battlefield regularly. I definitely wouldn't want someone in my fox-hole complaining about how difficult something was. Navy Seals are trained to do one thing: "get the job done!"

Wait, is the Rust-Belt also "not-in-the-know" when they typically vote Democrat?

Your comment is why Republicans will keep winning. Thanks for insulting the military community. We appreciate your honesty.

CNN is fake news. Every movie these days that has any scene showing news coverage uses CNN and CNN anchors playing the acting scenes. They are just a bunch of actors. Most of their talk focuses on pushing some agenda, they rarely do any actual reporting to tell people what happened, it's mainly just them babbling off their opinion about something.

Using that gold Star family as a prop, are you kidding me? It was the media used that father as a prop when he was upset with Trump just like they did with that Arab father that spoke-out against Trump during the primaries. Trump was obligated as a sitting President to say something, if he hadn't said anything you'd be criticizing him for that.

Did you even watch trump bumble like an idiot through his speech? He used them as a prop even though he's responsible for the Seal's death. I wouldn't expect a cowardly draft dodger to be a good commander in chief. Neither should you.

The snake oil salesman acted if he new this soldier when all along it was Obama that actually met this person. Trump and his POS son-in-law casually discussed this fatal mission over dinner as if this was just going to be another sales pitch and talking point and for them it was.

How is Trump responsible for that soldier's death? Trump didn't plan the operation, Trump didn't draft that soldier into the military, Trump didn't sign him up for the Navy Seals. Trump just took office and was handed over the pending operation that was left over from the Obama Administration.

If that's the argument you want to take then so far Trumps doing pretty good considering all the soldiers we've lost under the watch of other Presidents. So why should Trump be thrown under the bus in a manner that no prior President ever has been?

They're trying to get a Benghazi out of something that's not even remotely comparable. It just shows the kind of shallow no-think going on.

What--second guessing every single agency? No one person has the capacity to do that. Leaders depend upon their advisers, cabinets, boards of directors, etc--and not to make too big a point of it, but Trump still doesn't have all of his in place yet, in part because of the delaying tactics and brutal made-up character smears of his proposed appointees by the Marxist progressives, real and fake, among his opposition..

The Disloyal Opposition is placing the entire country at risk in an untold number of ways. We all saw what happened when the Bush-ites wouldn't raise the debt ceiling--all of our interest rates went up and so did the amount of tax money going out on the interest on US debt.

The opportunity to have people take note of her husband's sacrifice clearly meant a lot to the widow, no matter how cynically you view it. It's certainly better than Bush's tactic of not allowing reporters to take photos of the coffins of the war dead as they arrived back in the country. Additionally, Trump has a history of standing up for veterans.
