Twist and turn, twist and turn. "FRANKEN: If there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do? SESSIONS: Sen. Franken, I am not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign, and I did not have communications with the Russians, and I am unable to comment on it." That's a lie. There's every reason to believe he knew he was lying. He was under oath at the time. That's perjury. It's perjury regarding a matter of national security. You guys impeached a president for less. Platitudes about "democratic dishonesty" may make you feel better but this is all lies, all Trump, all the time.
You mean her meeting with the Russian President where there were some other guys in the room? Asked and answered. The lies still belong to Trump, Sessions, Flynn and...who else in TrumpCo is going to fall?
Really? And you're in it? Hardly. Nixon fell because someone rolled (John Dean) who didn't want to serve a big prison sentence. Just a matter of time. Cover up or clean up. The choice is Trumps.
"I am not aware of any of those activities"-Referring to possible discussions between Trump's Campaign and "the Russians". This is further emphasized by saying "I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign, and I did not have communications with the Russians." Keyword there: Surrogates. Sessions essentially answered as he would as a candidate for AG. He didn't assume that'd include "official government duties" such as his work as a member of the Armed Services Committee. It was libel and slander in the WP, picked up by Congress and a disgrace. Just like the attacks on his character regarding Racism. There's some disgusting character traits being revealed by people in their opposition to Trump.
Here's the good part. Everywhere I go here in flyover country I overhear a conversation with people speaking in disgust at what Democrats are doing. Nobody is falling for this in the real world and it's marginalizing the Democratic party even more than it already was while simultaneously hardening the resolve of main stream America
"...I did not have communications with the Russians..." Just, plainly a lie. Not a speaking error, as he tried to couch it in terms of surrogates (which he was), but a lie. A lie told because...well I'll leave it to others to determine the why of it. To determine the why of Trump's lies. To determine the why of Flynn's lies. To follow the money trail and finally, to turn that one guy who'd just rather not spend 5 years in a federal prison. Now, let's say that Sessions, instead says, "Yes, I met with the Russian Ambassador a couple of times last year. Nothing official, just some friendly banter as I recall." Would we have an issue today? It's the cover up that takes them down folks the cover up.
Well, if it's a wet dream and you're in it you must be Captain Weiner, Chief of Nocturnal Emmissions.
Of course, it's the "Cry Wolf" Syndrome. When much ado is made about nothing, the big problem with the self-inflicting destruction of these naive crybabies is that once Trump DOES slipup I have no incentive of taking ANYTHING they say seriously. They lied before, why wouldn't they lie now? That's what the likes of Acosta don't understand. It's not Trump that ruins their reputation, its their own self-serving, lying mouths. But it's gone beyond lying, it's now slander which takes an entire new form. There's a reason we believe cases shouldn't be tried in public, so that people can get their fair due. Sessions essentially isn't getting his fair due. NOTHING he writes to the corrupted body of the Senate will be satisfactory. And that's not fair to Sessions. The slander of a public official feels like personal slander(just like Matthews calling non-ACA supporters racist felt like an attack to me.) And it gets me personally angry. Angrier than perhaps I should be, but angry nevertheless.
The "I did not have communications with Russians" is clearly in conjunction with his openly stating that he was a surrogate of the campaign. He said what he said, in open acknowledgement of his position. This is how I know it isn't a lie, and anyone without a bone to grind knows it's not a lie. You WANT it to be a lie, because you want to take down Donald Trump. Anyone's character, reputation or livelihood to get to that goal, suffices. And like I said: Dishonorable. We've gone beyond politics, this isn't L/R anymore. This is the heart and character of our "neighbors" brought to life. The real sickness in our country.
It'd be like your new wife asking you if you cheated on her and slept with your ex. And you say, No, I've never slept with my ex. And your new wife says, Then how do you explain your children from your former marriage? And you say, But I didn't know you then. And she says, but you lied when you said you never slept with your ex. And you say, This conversation was about me cheating on you. And your new wife says, No it's about your fidelity to me and me being able to trust you. This, to me, is the twisted psychopathic rationale being proffered by Democrats and the left wing media. It is unconscionable, self serving, demented and bent upon destruction. Their goal is to destroy the Trump presidency....truth be damned.
If someone said that Pelosi said that then the someone who said that is simply lying. That's "lying" as in describing the activities of a "liar" as opposed to the activities of a rug.
I've a great idea. If Trump, and Trumpinistas don't want to be called liars, DON'T LIE. Now, of course, telling Trump not to lie is like telling the sun not to come up in the morning. Of course, the Trumpinistas take their cue from their leader. Now CLEARLY Sessions made a choice. He COULD have said something like. "Yeah, I met with the Russian Ambassador a couple of times. Really nothing more than social 'how do you do's.'" And we have no issue. But Sessions chose to lie. Just like Trump chose to lie. Just like Flynn chose to lie. Trump's problem is pathological but what about the rest. The FBI will follow the money and, at some point, some Trumpinista will turn. THEN we'll have the truth. Really, you should stop blaming others for the smell of TrumpCo's farts. No one but TrumpCo is making TrumpCo do the things TrumpCo does. And, of course, it's not the act, it's the cover-up that gets them every time.
That's EXACTLY what he said though. Just not outright for you. He can't be blamed for the fact that he didn't say it in a way that pleases you or pleases Pelosi. Because you're not interested in the truth, that this is nothing. You just wanna take out Donald. J. Trump. And if it means slinging Sessions's reputation in the mud, then so be it. That is scummish behavior. You are WORSE than Donald Trump. This is worse than "grab them by the pu$$y". Now, I hope someone defames you in YOUR life and I'd like to see how you'd like it.
That is NOT what he said. He said "NO!" You can lie to you but you can't lie to me. Actually, you can lie to me but I'll call you on it.
He said no in the questionnaire, and he was correct to do so. Just as he explained more thoroughly in his response to the Senate, and in his response to the media in the wake of this "controversy". It is PRECISELY what he said. Again, I sincerely wish you experience defamation once in your life. I need you to experience the shame, the hurt and the defense against false claims. Only THEN can you understand what Sessions is going through.
Did any of those Dems meet with Russian's while they were running for election and the Russians hacked their political opponents? No? Oh look this is my shocked face. Keep trying LMAO.
