Fox News pulls Napolitano after his Trump wiretap claims http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...lls-napolitano-after-his-trump-wiretap-claims Fox News has reportedly pulled Andrew Napolitano from the air indefinitely after his claims that a British intelligence agency had wiretapped Trump Tower. Napolitano, a Fox News analyst, is not scheduled to appear on the network in the near future, the Los Angeles Times reported, according to people familiar with the situation. Last week, Napolitano made the claims about the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) spying on Trump at former President Barack Obama's behest.
But I'm sure somehow the right wing fruit loops will blame his removal on the BIG, BAD MSM for reporting he said this. Wait a minute! He is the media idiot that reported it himself. Nevermind.
Who watches FOX or any of the other news networks anymore? CNN, MSNBC, FOX, they're all MSM and they all suck.
Maybe he can now get treatment for his mental condition. They (Faux) could try for a group rate - Hannity, O'Reilly, and Napolitano.
The Hill article that you posted uses the LA Times article below as their reference and nowhere in the LA Times article do they have any proof to their supposed claim. This is nothing but more #fakenews by the anti-Trump alt-left whining snowflakes. http://www.latimes.com/business/hollywood/la-fi-ct-napolitano-fox-news-20170320-story.html
yes to me it looks like they are reporting napolitano is not SCHEDULED for anything and interpreting it to mean he was banned, a quantum leap of tomfoolery.
I have to agree, the conclusion that FOX has taken him off the air in response to his comments is not substantiated. I don't watch FOX News or Judge Napolitano, but how often did he appear on FOX prior to this and is the sudden absence of any scheduled appearances a recent departure from the norm?
You guys have it all twisted. If he was taken off the air, it's because he was telling the truth. Wikileaks Vault 7 revealed that we are all being spied on, and Trump would be a very unlikely exception. It's impossible for me to believe he was not being spied on.
As Fox News’ Senior Judicial Analyst since 1998, Judge Napolitano broadcasts nationwide on the Fox News Channel throughout the day, Monday through Friday. He is nationally known for watching and reporting on the government as it takes liberty and property. http://www.judgenap.com/bio Although his website says he still is a faux analyst.
they have to if true, Trump watches and he believes anything he hears, they do not want to have the President tweet something crazy cause of them - lol
Exactly - Fake news-o-rama and false narrative central. We have a friggen war going on in Yemen. I guess that's not news anymore.
Turns out Fox Fake News pulling the judge off the air is itself fake news. Well done, people. You're really nailing those pertinent points these days.
Awwwwkward. "Fox was then put into the awkward position of denouncing Mr. Napolitano’s allegation, with the daytime anchor Shepard Smith saying on Friday: “Fox News cannot confirm Judge Napolitano’s commentary. Fox News knows of no evidence of any kind that the now-president of the United States was surveilled at any time, any way. Full stop.” During a congressional hearing on Monday, Mr. Comey said there was no evidence that Mr. Obama had wiretapped Mr. Trump. And Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, said at the same hearing that there was no evidence that the British had been asked to intercept conversations, as Mr. Napolitano had asserted."
NEW YORK (AP) — Fox News Channel has pulled legal analyst Andrew Napolitano from the air after disavowing his on-air claim that British intelligence officials had helped former President Barack Obama spy on Donald Trump. A person with knowledge of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity because it was a personnel matter said Napolitano has been benched and won't be appearing on the air in the near future. Fox had no immediate comment Monday. Napolitano's report last week on "Fox & Friends," saying he had three intelligence sources who said Obama went "outside the chain of command" to watch Trump, provoked an international incident. https://apnews.com/82a8c0ba374b40d3ad2c0f5ada27c14d Nappy ain't saying anything, Fox is not rushing to his defense, and someone in personnel is letteing it be know - yeah, he's benched.
look, the British spy on us, we spy on them, Russia spies on us, we spy on them. And from time to time one of them, us, leak what they find out to suit their, our, agendas. Are we all really just waking up to this. This whole "revelation" of late concerning spying /leaking is partisan reaching to an end. Can we grow up already
The problem seems to be the exposure of the contacts that the Murdochs have within the British intel services. Likely, Napolitano wasn't supposed to actually site these on air.
How about more intellectual honesty and less turd polishing. Imagine the right wingers' hysterical apoplexy if this scandal was involving a president Hillary.
Yah, two things there. 1. I thought R. Murdoch, the father & typhoon or was it tycoon? of Fox et al., was more or less expelled from UK, his networks there stymied for lack of licenses (& some big unfriendly takeover by Murdoch, Inc. evaporated - Skynet? - pending government approval - because of the mobile (cellphone) hacking scandal, & the much-too-friendly relationships between Murdoch's news operations, Scotland Yard, the more malleable/gullible authorities, some rogue Murdoch employees (who were duly disciplined, fired, & if it were possible in this day & age, would likely have been hanged, drawn & quartered). Murdoch's news operation in UK was a kinda personnel recruiting/CV-polishing waystation on the way to nice jobs in government, BBC, the national media apparat, apparently. I'm not sure that the taint ever went away, despite a flurry of early retirements & etc. in Murdoch's ops, Scotland Yard, the UK gov. & the agencies where Murdoch protégés perched for the moment. 2. Does Napolitano actually have any intel experience, or even experience with intel/national security court cases? I looked through his bios here & there, but there's no indication that I can see that he's had any experience in intel. I notice that there's no mention of military service, either, but that seems to be the case for a lot of professionals (doctors, architects, engineers, lawyers) these days.
