The answer is, of course he can. That doesn't mean he can actually do it. Most of the threats he's done against other elected officials have been laughable.

He does it all the time. It's bluster, as is most of his act.

The more Trump threatens, the less he is taken seriously. If he ever was.

It might or might not be wise but of course he can. Happens all the time by all politicians in power.

The good parts are misplaced and cost a fortune for what we get. The bad parts are of course bad parts. Bear in mind the first goal of ACA was to strengthen central government control over the populace; the 2nd goal dealt with health coverage. It needs to be deep-sixed.

What parts are actually misplaced? Any examples?

Why are the good misplaced items costing so much?

And why not amend the document to remove the bad parts?

I haven't personally read the document, it's 11,000 pages after all. It works for my Dad.

So I'm calling on persons who actually have a problem with it and why,

because you would've all clearly read it to oppose it.

I did read a good portion of it, even though that was hard because the PPACA often put changes in other laws, like social security, without restating those changes. But in short order Obama started issuing (it seemed like) weekly changes -- most illegally -- and it became impossible to keep up

It would be fine to remove the bad parts. Those parts however are the only thing propping up that house of cards. The first thing to go would be the mandate. Everything else is a far distant second.

Actually, I believe the whole intention of Obamacare was to tax the money people paid into the healthcare industry.

So, your last question I believe is what Hillary was going to do. Tweak the ACA, and find a compromise, over tossing the ACA out, and starting something from scratch.
Trump is simply trying to maintain his tough guy image. That's all there is to it. It's just Trump being Trump.

The people who think this healthcare plan will benefit them I have to remind those people, "Yeah, but how about the 24 million Americans who will be without healthcare in 2024 or 2026?"

Sure he can ... But his power to do so is political and financial, not actually the ability to remove anyone directly.
I could not complete your survey, given the choices.
You might want to add "d. Scrap the Federal Government mandate that unconstitutionally forces people to buy commercial products, and allow the Consumer to decide what coverage they need and don't need."

The ACA is being attacked for the same reason it has been since it became law....Obama did it. The law is pretty much what the Heritage foundation and Mitt Romney wanted but, Republicans did not do it so it's gotta be destroyed at all costs...even if that means Grandma gets the shaft...she's going to die eventually, anyway. As for Trumps threats, he does this all the time in different ways and it worked when he was in business...Now it's just silly and damaging to his Presidency.
