If the popular vote were the rules in play, then she would have won!!!!! Unfortunately for her, the popular vote is irrelevant, and so she didn't.

I looked through every single response on this thread of now 9 pages. Notice not one single user said "Yes, I voted for trump but now regret it?" You guys think Democrats are losers now? Wait until my age group of Gen Z is eligible to vote. In the meantime; however, I would be willing to say I supported Trump and now regret it, but you will have to get your Media Matters / Correct the Record handlers to float me some of their petty cash fund too. Otherwise you will remain 0 confirmations for 9 full pages.

As more and more Trump cult members are deprogrammed with a barrage of news on his scandals and treason, then his supporters will drop away.

You think "...I'm off in the woods somewhere...," I think you must be a Democrat. The reason I come to this supposition is at least one of us is smart enough to realize the initial question posed in the thread we are responding to. Let me help you, it is "Any Trump voters out there, now having second thoughts about voting for Trump?!!" If you didn't vote for trump then you obviously don't fit the profile to answer this question, now do you?

In reality, the popular vote is meaningless and irrelevant, because Trump, not Hillary, is President.

Is that why Democrats have lost so many elections across the country in the last few years?

Tom Perez can only hope that the Democratic Party has hit bottom.

He has taken over as chairman of the Democratic National Committee just as the party is struggling to recover from a November rout that left Republicans in charge of the White House, both houses of Congress and most of the nation’s governorships and state legislative chambers. It’s hard to imagine how things could get any worse in 2018 or 2020.

In an interview with The Times, Perez was candid about some of the party’s failures in 2016, most notably its abandonment of vast stretches of rural and small-town America.

He zeroed in on the party’s loss of more than 900 seats in state legislatures over the last decade.

Yes, the public bought into the Republican lie that you can tax-cut your way into prosperity. It doesn't work. The red state model is a failure. But that doesn't keep the public from falling for it. So we have to go though it to show the public that it doesn't work. Only when people admit that it doesn't work can we use alternate policies, only then can the democrats win again.

They won't though. If things go well it will all be Trumps doing and if things go wrong it will all be from progressive interference.

Most seem seriously unaware that they are a motley mix of protectionist and free trade libertarians. All who seem bent on blaming anyone who doesn't look like themselves for everything that has gone wrong.

Imagine the conservative leaning societal normative belief system prior to the "baby boomer" generation. Along came the 1960's and it became a cool trendy counter culture with American youth to express non-normative beliefs of liberalism. I can't speak for the Millennial generation; however, my generation is repeatedly force fed these obvious liberal indoctrinations daily through our education system. It is truly the new cool trendy American counter culture to express conservatism. Many in my generation Z will be allowed to vote in 2018, while nearly all will participate in 2020. Conservative political candidates have given my generation a platform for voice. "youth for Rand," "Young Republicans," and other such outlets. Democrats took a shellacking this last election cycle, but I predict they will become almost irrelevant as a political party come the next couple of election cycles. They had better develop an actual platform beyond hyperbole "baskets of deplorables," then get this message out over the next couple of election cycles, or they will not remain viable.

If that's truly what you think you are incredibly off base when it comes to knowing anything about politics whatsoever
