Sorry, the party of "NO" just changed clothes. They were wearing red for the last eight years. It's the same ole same ole..... What did Ryan say? Oh yes, being the opposition is easy. Leading is hard. Captain Obvious to explain things to us.

If it has nothing to do with liberal policy then how can you use it to boast for liberal policy?

Its like an ugly person carrying around a picture of some hottie from an underwear ad in their pocket trying to use it to claim they're attractive.

Can we blame ALL of Kansas problems on conservative policy?

Nobody is pointing to Kansas as some sort of beacon.

Plus scroll up and see how this got started.

A liberal wanted to inundate the country with illegals, savage 3rd world Muslims, and thugs, but he didn't want them anywhere where he lived so he deflected.

    Funny huh?

You tried to build yourself a straw man and I stomped on that **** like it was some kiddie sand castle.

You want to act like you've won something?

Go right ahead, but here's the series of events:

Fail #1: Demanding the nation be inundated with illegal immigrants and savage 3rd worlders but not wanting them in your town.

Fail #2: Deflecting to irrelevant topic after being owned via Fail #1.

Fail #3: Erroneously attributing Cali economy to liberal policies instead of geography and the non-liberal voting agricultural North.

Fail #4: Constructing a straw man by invoking yet another irrelevant topic after being owned via Fail #3.

Fail #5: Not realizing you couldn't have a discussion about poor states without talking about race as you built the straw man from Fail #4.

Fail #6: Stepping to me and thinking I wasn't going to destroy you.

Extreme partisanry is what has us in this mess.

We need a new government. And we need it now.

3, 4 and 5 are you directly and since you joined in on the absurdity you catch flak for 1 and 2 as well.

Actually, what is shown very clearly in these posts is that you stuck your nose in something -> got slapped -> built a straw man -> got slapped -> deflected from the straw man -> got slapped again -> now you're playing out some pathetic "i won the internet" delusion to which, yea -> you're getting slapped once again.

Feel free to respond with whatever nonsense you need to repair your ego with, but I'm done reading your posts in this thread.

Republicans blocked holding hearings on a SC nominee for over a year. So go cry me a river over a 1 week delay . :juggle:

Actually, the R's are being less vocal than they could be about the left's "opposition", which by their own admission is actually "resistance", no matter what the issue entails. But you're correct about the "bitching". It's almost like it's replaced any thoughtful, constructive debate.

It's not the delay itself, it's become the norm for the D's. They delayed votes and hearings on practically all of Trump's cabinet picks. It's Schumer's plan to filibuster that's troubling.

Gorsuch will be approved. Then, when Ruthie kicks the bucket, we'll get another conservative.

ABOLISH THE FILIBUSTER ENTIRELY, THEN RAM ALL THE NEW BILLS THROUGH: Democrats push McConnell toward nuclear option on Gorsuch.

Senate Democrats are beginning to line up against Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, increasing the chances the Senate will enact a “nuclear option” that would thwart the minority filibuster for high court picks.

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., the minority leader, announced he would vote against Gorsuch, an expected move, but one that could set the tone for rank-and-file Democrats on the fence about his nomination.

Sens. Bob Casey, D-Pa., Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Tom Carper, D-Del., also announced opposition to Gorsuch, and the list is likely to grow significantly.

At least eight Democrats are needed to end a filibuster party lawmakers have announced against Gorsuch, who is now serving as a judge on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

So far, not one Senate Democrat has pledged to vote in favor of him, although some red-state Democrats up for re-election in 2018 may have a difficult time rejecting him.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has sent a warning to Democrats that he’ll ensure Gorsuch is seated on the Supreme Court no matter how they vote, signaling he’s willing to change Senate rules that would lower the threshold for his confirmation from 60 votes to 51 votes. Such a move would completely bypass the Democrats, who control 48 votes.

Go full “Reid Option” and nuke the filibuster. Because the last several years we were told repeatedly how outdated and undemocratic the filibuster is.

LOSING IT: Schumer goes off on Trump supporter at NYC restaurant, witness says.

“They are a highly respected couple, and Schumer made a scene, yelling, ‘She voted for Trump!’ The Califanos left the restaurant, but Schumer followed them outside.” On the sidewalk, Schumer carried on with his fantastical filibuster: “ ‘How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!’ He kept repeating, ‘He’s a liar!’ ”

Hilary confirmed the confrontation, telling Page Six, “Sen. Schumer was really rude . . . He’s our senator, and I don’t really like him. Yes, I voted for Trump. Schumer joined us outside and he told me Trump was a liar. I should have told him that Hillary Clinton was a liar, but I was so surprised I didn’t say anything.”

Trump is living rent-free in the heads of the Democratic leadership. His victory really did cause a party-wide nervous breakdown. Clearly this shows that the Senator from New York may be losing his ability to direct the affairs of state.

People who are confident do not do that in public.

Exactly. I am begging the liberals force the nuclear option. It will be 10 times easier when that old hag kicks the bucket and then we will have a real majority!
