I'm fine with waiting too as long as the obstruction stops... Nunes stepping down today was a good start. As far as Benghazi, could she have let the ball drop a little... maybe. Did she present the facts to the American people the best no. But having as many embassies as America has you can't fault her for not being perfect - no one is.

Look like Trump let you down in Syria.

I'll tell you what I wouldn't use: Nukes!

Sanctions is the only way to stop him. We need to engage the International community. Trump seems to be heading a different way, though. But it's hard to tell, as he hasn't laid out any strategy whatsoever on anything related to international affairs. I mean, if we can take out their facilities using conventional weapons... I would have no problem. But there are difficulties in doing that.

Sanctions have been on N. Korea for years and the only thing it does is starve his people. None of the sanctions have even slowed him or his father down. Sanctions just don't work against a madman.

They work if done internationally. And not just against N. Korea. Against China, if they continue supporting him. But the U.S. cannot do it alone. It has to be an international agreement.

Supply any example you have where sanctions have actually changed a despots behavior. I will wait, probably forever.

Do you really think we can get an international consensus when we can't even get consensus in this country on anything.

You are correct. I don't really think that we can get an international consensus while Trump is in charge. But if he doesn't act hastily we can let real leaders like Angela Merkel and others, try to obtain it.

I does not matter who is in charge here the international community will never agree on anything. China will continue to support N. Korea and Russia will continue to support Syria so they would never agree with sanctions and do trade with them regardless of sanctions. Angela Merkel may not be in charge in Germany much longer anyway.

Angela Merkel was just an example. Point is that somebody will need to step up to replace us as world leaders while Trump is in power. Over the last 8 years there have been many international agreements. Some have worked, some haven't (and everything in between). But it's the only alternative to us getting involved in regime change. Which Progressives have warned against for many years. And now conservatives are starting to realize is counter-productive.

Sorry but Trump will be our leader for at least the next 4 years and maybe 4 more after that. Anyone who doesn't like it is free to move away.

Your statement regarding Hillary is an egregious oversimplification much more in tune with political propaganda than real facts. With Trump disbanding the Dept of State as he is, that protection for Ambassadors is going to get a lot worse, Keep watching.

Maybe not putting an embassy in a dangerous country would be a good idea.
