I think North Korea has more capabilities than people think, and more than they are willing to release. http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/advice/a22948/north-korea-icbm-range-united-states/
North Korea has never even successfully tested one of those missiles. And for that matter, targeting one of our satellites would definitely be an act of war that would result in retaliation.
Yeah, I think the message is, "I really need to distract my citizens from what a moron I am, so be ready!"
If North Korea uses a nuke I hope China reacts and invades before we do, I hate to say it but the common people in North Korea would be better off under Chinese rule than that despot in office running things now and the military. We would likely retaliate from the South and we can get a new DMZ at some point when we and China dig in.
So your saying that you know of everything that NK is capable of. Are you all knowing on what America is capable of? Now this is obvious speculation but I would say they have jets, tanks, and a lot other things that we have never seen before. Same with any nation.
21,000lb bomb, capable of destroying everything in a wide area, killing hundreds of children classed as not a WMD. Sarin gas kills 51 people with very little infrastructure destroyed classed as a WMD Many more will die from disease and no water or food due to the destruction caused by that MOAB classed as not a WMD. No more will die from that Sarin gas classed as a WMD. Pathetic hypocrisy isn't it? ps that bomb cost $314M plus transport costs
Cost $314 million to develop, unit cost is $16 million each. I'm not aware of any reports of children being killed in the first use of this bomb in a combat situation. (http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2017/04/13/Heres-How-Much-Mother-All-Bombs-Costs) Should we cover any other lies while your foaming at the mouth and wringing your hands?
The opening titles for this little Docudrama ran long ago. Honestly, right around September 11, 2001.
How many of these bombs have been made? So far I see one at a cost of $330M. ps still not classed as a WMD but sarin gas is! Hypocrites but hey, "we" need to sell these bombs to other countries hence for the continuous wars - the US desires the Middle and Far East to be in constant turmoil
Does everyone understand that this was a strike planned under the Obama Administration? Or are we agreeing to pass credit over to Trump on this.
Hahaha! Limp Wristed obama went on an apology tour when first elected. He was a failure. President Trump is going on a bitch slapping tour and winning!
Shhh, don't tell them that or they will suddenly start saying how terrible it was and a complete waste of money and pointless. On a more serious note, US Foreign Policy does not change with changing governments
One would hope you are bright enough to understand that Obama never apologized and Trump did not order this....One would hope in futility.
Probably. In fact it doesn't require Presidential authorization and Trump didn't authorize it. It is a field command level decision. It's just a bomb - a very big one!
Not too sure Trump didn't either outright call for field command to use it, or take their advise & agree to use it. You're right in the fact that POTUS permission isn't needed to use it though.
