My measure of winning a debate is unique in that I define winning as learning something new. I leave changing minds to those who enjoy such an exercise in futility.

The fair way to decide who wins a classical debate is a neutral 3rd party, which there is no mechanism on this forum to facilitate such a competitive debate.

 

Others, by forcing you to run away from a point you know you cannot substantively argue, disprove the claim you made in the OP.

I actually really like your way! I find that some people just want to attack instead of taking emotion out and examining a points logic and reasoning.many of my views were changed by hearing others opinions and from information that I hadn't been exposed to.I am glad I was willing to be wrong, not always the easiest thing to do let go of pride or change a view that you adamantly had defended and insisted on it being the right answer.
