Well if she doesn't win I guess we'll know France is a misogynistic country. ;)

    Seriously though, she'll win.

Now I know she's gonna win.

How will you be celebrating the French election night?

While I'd like to strike the last POTUS from memory too, unfortunately I have to recognize it based on principle.

If there was one worry, it would be that Europeans are way bolder with rigging elections. Apparently, it has been a real problem for UK loyalists. This is only the 1st go round for the French effort, and that is the easiest one to say, "oh it was close, but the remainders won". Much harder on the 2nd and 3rd, when people know for a fact there is no one voting to stay.

I think I'd prefer the thinker. Sometimes men think that women prefer the muscle bound yobbo. Not so.

Well the chance that le pen wins is very small AND people dont seem to realise that like the US france has a parliament.

Le pen CANT take france out of the EU. She needs aproval of a 3/5th mayority in both houses. Good luck getting that.

Oh and about the plots to destroy Western civilization :roflol::roflol:

    OP

I don't know if it'll be End of Days if Le Pen wins but it'll sure be the end of the EU - and the sooner, the better. Time for Le Grande Projet to be put out of its well-deserved misery.

She could still ask to go outside of EU with a referendum to counter that.

She will probably not win this years. Probably Macron will win and be a failure. In France almost all medias either belong to the state or to 4 bllionnaires. Macron is an extremly good friend of the billionnaire Xavier Niels (who owns le monde, the most important newspaper of the country) or Pierre Bergé who owns the newspaper le nouvel observateur.

You think the Islamists made the attack on Paris so Le Pen would be elected? Their stated purpose has always been to foment a war between Islam and the West. If France is still considered part of the West that is. They surrendered to Hitler in like what, three or four days?

I think it would certainly benefit Radical Islamist terrorists to continue to terrorize the West/Europe by any means necessary further driving the wedge to their intended goal.

No reason to panic. France has a quite rational system to elect Her President. A first round is held with all candidates. Unless one candidate gets 50%+1 vote or more a runoff is held between the two candidates with the highest vote totals. They have 4 candidates with enough support they could possibly advance to the second round there is no chance of one winning in the first round. Le Pen is very likely to advance but will almost certainly lose to her runoff opponent (most likely Macron). All of her possible opponents are ahead of her in the runoff polls by wide margins (much greater than Clinton's over Trump). (Clinton won the popular vote with about a 2% plurality.)

I wish the USA had the same system to elect the President. Clinton would probably have won the runoff.

The system is not that good. It give a tremendous power to the opinion poll. A lot of people don't vote for the candidate they like, but the one the polls say he have the most chance to reach second stage.

I certainly hope you are correct.
Our so-called president praised LePen, saying, "she will do well because she is "strongest on borders, and she's the strongest on what's been going on in France."
"Whoever is the toughest on radical Islamic terrorism, and whoever is the toughest at the borders, will do well in the election," he said.
Funny - well, not really funny - peculiar - that Trump and Putin would both like to see more nationalism in W Europe and the EU fall apart - as in Brexit, which again, the co-called president praised.
