FOX did a lot more than "cover" the tea party story. They created it. See my avatar. Free advertising for the events. Keynote speakers provided, courtesy of FOX News. Unprecedented bias, not seen by any other main stream media.

Not even close. They promoted it. They provided free advertising for upcoming rallies. They sent Beck, Hannity, Gretchen and Cavuto to the 4 different cities, to try to draw larger crowds. These people spoke at the rallies. Can you cite this kind of "coverage" (promotion, speakers, etc.) from any other MSM organization, for any rally or protest?

What Tea Party event did FOX News oraganize? Did they cover it? Of course as did the other networks. And they did so in a fair and balanced manner.

OH I get it now, you are just spouting conjecture. It was a HUGE nationawide rally and you assert they should not have covered it. What utter folly.

Here's what I said, and you didn't respond to the issues at all.

I can't post a photo on this site, but look at my avatar. This is an actual screen shot from a FOX broadcast. These promotions happened repeatedly.

Here is a tremendous expose of the lies of FOX News by Rick Sanchez of CNN. Exposes them for what they are. Please watch towards the end, after he proves that CNN covered the event, he makes a distinction between "covering" an event and "promoting" an event.

Yes it was a news event and they covered it DUH. They also gave "free advertising" to Obama, Clinton, Sanders, Warren.

See my avatar. That's a FOX news screenshot. And it's also in this expose...

    https://mediamatters.org/research/2009/04/08/report-fair-and-balanced-fox-news-aggressively/149009

Despite its repeated insistence that its coverage is "fair and balanced" and its invitation to viewers to "say 'no' to biased media," Fox News has frequently aired segments encouraging viewers to get involved with "tea party" protests across the country, which the channel has described as primarily a response to President Obama's fiscal policies. Media Matters has compiled an analysis of Fox News' promotion of these events.

    Your turn!

Those are news reports, they also reported on the recent Womens marches and anti-Trump marches. Your avitar is from Glenn Beck. You said they ran free ads for the march, prove it.

Wow, I can't believe you actually don't think FOX "promoted" the Tea Party. This is easy. I would encourage you to simply do a search for "FOX Promotes Tea Party". Here's one article that comes up:

    https://talkingpoliticsjomc.wordpress.com/2013/04/08/what-would-the-tea-party-be-without-fox-news/

Fox’s relentless promotion of the Tea Party began in 2009, when it became a rallying point for the political movement. On March 24th, American Newsroom co-host Bill Hemmer encouraged viewers to visit the Tea Party online, In order to encourage participation. He said “there’s a list of the nationwide Tax Day tea party events coming up on the 15th of April, which will be a huge deal for those organizations. So check it out online right now.” This message was repeated again and again after every mention of the Tea Party’s activism on Fox News.
