Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions did not disclose meetings he had last year with Russian officials when he applied for his security clearance, the Justice Department told CNN Wednesday.

Sessions, who met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at least two times last year, didn't note those interactions on the form, which requires him to list "any contact" he or his family had with a "foreign government" or its "representatives" over the past seven years, officials said.
The new information from the Justice Department is the latest example of Sessions failing to disclose contacts he had with Russian officials. He has come under withering criticism from Democrats following revelations that he did not disclose the same contacts with Kislyak during his Senate confirmation hearings earlier this year.

The evidence mounts. I would love to see Sessions go down in flames. I've been listening to his crackpottery on the Sunday morning shows for two decades. He is a despicable human being - the only person I despise more than Trump... but I've had a long time to develop that opinion. Trump has almost caught up on a year.

So now, after all the other BS regarding Trump and the Russians is falling apart, the left is going on a fake news attack against Sessions? This is getting ridiculous.

Rehashing the same tired propaganda. Everyone's aware of Sessions meetings, and incidental contact with Kislyak. He recused himself. If you're unhappy with Sessions now, you'll really begin to hate him soon. Lots of Dems in the hot seat. Sanctuary bill, newly revised, and going into effect. Democrats are like the Ferguson rioters, who started CVS on fire, only to later realize their mommas were out of insulin. Dems lit the fire, prepare to be burned.

What's fake about it? Is the story false?

So why'd he "forget" to put it on his disclosures?

Obviously he didn't. And "I forgot" won't wash. This adds to the evidence that he was intentionally hiding information.

David Gergen was saying that he has filled these out many times and that is one of the key sections. You have to be exhaustive and sometimes need to get legal assistance. You don't just "forget stuff".

The intent of the question in part, can be translated as: Do we have any reason to think you are a spy or working on behalf of a foreign government?

This issue was resolved months ago. Sessions recused for the sake of appearances. Sessions was at the time a US senator, and met with Kislyak in his DC office. :deadhorse:

That's when he lied under oath about it. This is a different instance of him being dishonest about the same meeting. Those guys seem to forget about a lot of Russian contacts...

Which part of your answer explains why he lied about it again?

He had to fill out a new security clearance form in order to become the head of the DOJ. It is on that form which he apparently forgot to disclose.

If you've chosen to wait until today, to address an issue resolved months ago, without being at all knowledgeable on the subject, that's on you. Sessions was questioned in open hearings. His testimony is available in the public domain. Educate yourself as you see fit.

    Miss this, Einstein???

    From YOUR LINK:

"Sessions initially listed a year's worth of meetings with foreign officials on the security clearance form, according to Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores. But she says he and his staff were then told by an FBI employee who assisted in filling out the form, known as the SF-86, that he didn't need to list dozens of meetings with foreign ambassadors that happened in his capacity as a senator."

Maybe you should actually READ the Fake News articles before posting them...
