Not surprising, really, but nevertheless interesting to find out:

The first genome data from ancient Egyptian mummies
Ancient Egyptians were most closely related to ancient populations from the Near East

    Source:
Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History

    Summary:
An international team has successfully recovered ancient DNA from Egyptian mummies dating from approximately 1400 BCE to 400 CE, including the first genome-wide nuclear data, establishing ancient Egyptian mummies as a reliable of [sic] ancient DNA. The study found that modern Egyptians share more ancestry with Sub-Saharan Africans than ancient Egyptians did.

Interesting. So that means Egyptians were from modern day Saudi Arabia, Iraq/Iran, etc.?

No, It means that some people migrated north along the Nile to join the descendants of ancient Egyptians to become modern Egyptians. The Sahara desert is in Africa. Saudi Arabia, Iraq/Iran are not in Africa.

No it means that ancient Egyptians were not Black people
as racist Black people like to claim.

    Further -
Ancient Egyptians were genetically more related to the people
who settled all the way up in Anatolia than they were to Black people.

What part do I have wrong?
Ancient Egypt was NOT an ancient Black civilization.

Now, can anyone point out an ancient Black civilization.
Nubia does not count because of its' proximity to Egypt and the likelihood cultural transfer.
