As predicted------------the Comey hearing is a total bust for democrats

There is no doubt that the Comey hearing going on is a total bust for democrats. Comey flatly said Trump DID NOT direct him to drop the Flynn investigation. Trump only said he HOPED nothing would come of the Flynn investigation because he was a good guy, and Comey said he thot he was a good guy too.

And -------------- Trump never raised the point again

 

Actually, that's not what he said. But you knew that.

 

They are setting up the false narrative in anticipation of the birther-in chief's false narrative about the hearing. He will start tweeting that Comey's testimony did not incriminate him. Sorry Donald Dump, but it made you sound like the liar and corrupt gangster that you are.

 

It is exactly what he said. I have watched the meeting all morning. Did you?

 

If your argument - and your convictions - were strong, wouldn't you have responded with what he DID say?

Or-------------------you could just suck it up admit that Trump won the election wether you like it or not, and become adults and move on.

He very much said that he interpreted the phrase "I hope you can let this go" as an order. Although he said he couldn't know for an absolute certainty that it was because he didn't know Trump well enough personally to understand how he thinks. But based off of the actions and behavior from Trump, he inferred that it was the kind of inclination that a supervisor would direct to a subordinate.

 

This exonerated Trump to an even greater extent.

Comey sat down with a whole senior level FBI group and shared what Trump had said.
And evidently, no one within that group felt that the matter should be shared with superiors either in the DOJ or with Congressional oversight committees.

This was not only a Democratic letdown, this amounted to a beat down of their, "Obstruction," mantra.

 

2018 should be yet another banner year for Republicans.

 

I think a lot of people are getting way ahead of themselves in regards to this investigation. Nobody here can say for a certainty that there is no evidence of coordination or wrongdoing, nor can they say there is. There is only the facts that we know for sure. The facts that are known to the public would suggest that Trump has been trying to derail the investigation. However, the FBI and Meuller's team have not finished their investigations. And the answers to everyone's questions are not going to be known until those investigations are complete. I think everyone on both sides of the aisle need to calm down and get over themselves,

 

The biggest losers besides the Democrats was Obama's Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the MSM with all of the "fake News" that they have put out there for the past past 24 months.

How many times did Comey mention fake news in particular the New York Times who were in collusion with the DNC and the Hillary campaign and were the first to lie to America with a fake news story that Donald Trump was in direct collusion with the Russians.

Comey called it fake news.

 

Comey characterized Trump as a prolific liar, incapable of telling the truth. Well, that one time when Trump said he "had Russia on his mind" when contemplating his firing, that's all true. Trump, as he said he did, established that he was not being investigated, so that in firing Comey no case for obstruction could be made. Comey never produced any evidence, of any crime, and allowed the "cloud" of suspicion to remain on the WH for a year. No progress? No evidence? That's an obsession. You're fired.

 

Gosh, I have to start being more precise with my words. I'm surprised that people don't get more upset at me when I say "I hope ..."; I've yet to get a "Hey, stop ordering me around!"

As to the legal question, in case anyone is wondering, I agree with Gregg Jarrett, who on the June 7th edition of Hannity, states the following:

So, you weren't watching the same hearing everyone else was. Got it.

 

When billy's mom says " I hope that won't happen again will it Billy?" You can bet Billy won't be thinking of doing that again. Or if your boss says "I hope this gets done today" you càn bet it'll be done

 

The Democrats do not believe obstruction is an impeachable offense, so even if there is obstruction, the Democrats won't vote in favor.

None of any of this matters. Like Global Warming the media manufactured a narrative and has rammed it down the throats of the morons every minute of every day. Comey said everything that needed to be said. None of our intelligence agencies were allowed to touch the victim server. The only people who were allowed to touch it was Democrat operatives at crowdstrike who loved Hillary and hate Putin.

All of the intelligence agencies have the same story because they got it from the same place ,,, and it wasn't their own experts. I doubt the Russians did anything to change a single vote. If they hacked anything, they wouldn't have left tracks.

 

You are presenting this in a misleading way.

In the public sphere, there is no evidence of coordination or wrongdoing. That can be said with certainty. While yes there is an ongoing investigation, at this point, actual evidence of such does not exist. That doesn't mean that in the future that evidence could not theoretically arise, but at this point, evidence for such does not exist. I could say that evidence does not exist that ties you to the Manchester bombing, and it would be incorrect to claim that I cannot make that statement because an investigation is still ongoing. I can unequivocally say that evidence does not exist of coordination between Trump and the Russians, and evidence does not exist tying you to the Manchester bombing. To put the disclaimer of "yet" into the statement, you are making an unfair insinuation based on the facts known at this juncture.If evidence in either case were to arise, then the statement would be changed, because at that point evidence WOULD exist.

With the currently known evidence, the 24/7 rampant speculation/innuendo from most of the mainstream media, is nothing short of nonsensical.

Agreed. No definitive evidence against Trump = COMPLETE TRUMP VICTORY!!!! WHOA YEAAA MERICA!!

I watched the whole thing and it made Trump look like a dishonest and overly aggressive authoritarian putz. On most of the real questions Comey refused to answer due to "the ongoing investigation", so there was not much real red meat. But there may not be any anyway, Trump is likely enough more a pawn than a real player.

The most satisfactory part was when he stated that he had not a shadow of doubt about Russian interference in the election. All this puff about it being fake news should be gone now. Should... but there is no accounting for idiots.

 

Trump will not be impeached, muct less removed from office.
Trump will not resign.
Trump will remain PotUS until his term(s) expire.
