WInd power being installed has been going on for years now, long before the Paris accords just as the nuclear reactors going up in China (something I wish we would start doing here) has also been going on long before the Paris accords. The Paris agreement is literally ONE year old. Do you think that all that stuff just magically sprouted up over night? Paris accords had NOTHING to do with that.

Perhaps, but it ought to have been ratified by the Senate, as per the Constitution. There is a reason we have elections and don't govern ourselves with sample surveys, much to the chagrin of Democrats this time round I might add.

Yes, but the Paris Accord was the first attempt to set targets on Global Warming. One hundred seventy five countries signed on to an agreement to attempt to slow global warming.

Renewable energy, in and of itself, isn't enough. Transportation systems, and the overuse of fossil fuels, need serious reconsideration. It's a global problem, that requires a global solution.

C'mon vman, you can do it. Buy some solar panels. I bought solar panels and a wind turbine. I love them. In essence, I am already helping you out by keeping electrical rates low. You see, solar is a peak-load, peak producer. As such, it prevents more power plants from being built, which holds down rates. Your welcome :)

And would the highly partisan Boehner congress have approved? Would the highly partisan McConnell senate have approved? Obama did the right thing, by satisfying the desires of most Americans, over the big oil money that drives the GOP (Gas Over-consumption Party).

Trump on the other hand, has a Republican House and Senate, and did not seek approval. Why? There is too much consensus and scientific evidence that Climate Change is real, and caused by man, and he knew he couldn't get anything passed.

Call SolarCity, they will. But if you want it to be "your stuff" you're gonna have to purchase the system one way or another. Just like the rest of your stuff. Buck up, pinko. This ain't China.

Why do we have to be a part of the Paris accords to do all this?

No this is the US, we're supposed to pay for other people's stuff too. That was the point of the Paris Accord.

    Here's what it's about:

    So,

Because pulling out worsens an already bad global crisis by making it far more difficult to avoid crossing yet another global temperature threshold. One that will in turn make recovery far more difficult, if not impossible. We're all in the same boat. Need to get something big done in a hurry? Try committing to bail along with everyone else.

The problem is nobody know what will happen or when which is why so many don't see any urgency in the matter. I don't think anything is going to happen in my lifetime and doubt anything will happen in my great grandchildren's lifetime.

Surely you can think of a better reason to redistribute American wealth.

Let the world sue Obama to get their 3 billion and let Obama cut his carbon usage whatever percent it is supposed to be.

Can you explain how elitist leftist can be in favor of big oil AND green energy? I agree big oil wing nuts are upset, but you might wanna reconsider who exactly they are since FEW if ANY are leftists.

PROJECTION is one of your favorite tactics. It does make you look foolish at times tho.
