I don't think the refugee crisis is ever going to end...

 

I dont think the world will suffer Islam's ancient ideology that long. They'll need to reform or the 'infidels' are eventually going to fight back.

I can't find it right now but there was a thread on this forum a while back about a teenager in Saudi Arabia who made a post on Twitter that Allah wasn't real and then he had to flee the country to Malaysia (another muslim country). But the Saudis issued an arrest warrant for the teen through Interpol, and they had him extradited back to Saudi Arabia where he was convicted of blasphemy and served a 2-year prison sentence and was whipped a dozen times.

You do know the vast majority of those Muslims will be living in just 4 countries, right?

 

What happens when those 4 countries become overpopulated and spill out into other countries?
There's certainly a lot of spilling out happening right now.

 

I don't know, maybe we should pursue a policy of containment and just pay some other muslim country to take them all in.

 

Those countries have other Muslim neighbors, plus they aren't exactly running out of room.

I'm confused to the point of this topic. Refugee crisis are not limited to muslims nor is being a refugee a new phenomenon. Just a century ago there was also a religious based refugee crisis which worsened and peaked in WW2.

People tend to forget that there is always a migration and always somebody being persecuted for their beliefs somewhere. Think of the mass European migration to the American continent or to Australia. I just hope that we as a society have evolved since then in Europe and don't start a new pogrom of some sorts. That would be a damn shame if we have learned nothing.

Also I'd like to point out that most people forget that there are basically as many muslims living east as there are muslims living west of India. Somehow only the western Muslims get our media's attention while Malaysias don't get any press...

35 years? I honestly wouldn't be a bit surprised if they're outnumbering us right now. Or put it this way . . . outnumbering the combined total of christians and atheists.

 

@kazenatsu There is apparently a rise of secularism and atheism in those countries. That's a big unknown.

However, I think a part of the western world has reached his point of non-return before collapsing against mass islamic migration.

 

Not they won't Islam doesn't need violence with numbers will come the power of the ballot box, they use charity and good works and yes in some nations they will use violent force and there is no one seriously going to stop them many nations can't by Constitutional Rights and/or Human Rights Treaty they have protections, And in other places they use violence if needed to maintain power don't believe me as an Atheist o to Saudi Arabia and openly talk about it and see what happens and they are 'moderates' we can deal with as 'friendly". Others we don't have such good relations with do the same thing like say Iran.

You do this outside the Vatican or outside other religious areas not Muslim its not an issue like being imprisoned, flogged or killed.

And why should they change their methods historically had success it was only matching Christian passion that stopped previous attempts and as a counterweight in the West.

The west can't afford to - every western country is in deep fiscal doo-doo.

 

It's more an issue of culture than demographics. For example, cultures in the middle eastern region are more or less similar, whereas cultures between them and northern European regions are stark - especially when the newcomers refuse to integrate into their host 'families'?

 

Muslims CAN assimilate as seen in the U.S. but many of their cultural habits will require massive revision or abandonment...especially concerning women. It is up to them to decide to do so because otherwise they will be rejected by existing society. Muslims already deal with a very big negative due to their terrorist contingent.

 

Muslims CAN assimilate, and they do, if they are scattered throughout the country. The problem arises when enclaves are developed, and large groups of muslims can live in their own culture, in sections of all muslim neighborhoods, cities, etc.

 

This is accurate and particularly damaging due to the secretive nature brought about by existing distrust and dislike....in many ways deservedly so.
