I mostly hang out on the Swedish-speaking versions of Mises.org and cor.ax. Or these are at least my "homes" in the way it is where I go firstly when entering the web and before exitting it. I have been following the original (Swedish) version of the corax-project for quite some while and their work is really impressive. Basically, they just list news from various sources and summarise the news into one, whitty headline. They are Libertarians and sometimes that might shine through, but they are not selective with their sources and pick their news from all kinds of places. The English version is only in the starting phase, but it looks promising. Everyone should check out cor.ax.
This is the only hamster wheel I post on... don't know how people manage to find time to post on more than one... posting on other forums would also be like being caught in "ground hog insult day"
There is a very big Swedish forum with sub-forums covering, pretty much, everything. I mostly hang out in their "political ideologies"-section, but haven't posted there since January or something. Sometimes I get into periods when I post a lot.
I have posted 8,000? Russian messages and 10,000? English messages since '96 -- I am not a very prolific poster.
I post here way too much and swear I am quitting one of these days, but I guess my cyber home is divided between some reddit forums and some sites that host a lot of farming/agriculture stuff as that is where my heart is at the moment. I just don't find them that "fun" to post at as much as I do here as they have little room for creativity. They are all, "My Goat had twins but one of them was all shriveled up with puncture holes on its throat and the other one came out with fangs and wings and is now flying around the barn. Should I try to bottle feed it?"
I used to post mostly on a very friendly Russian-American forum (Russian language) -- 6,000 posts. But now I am looking for a cyberhome.
I go to an astrology forum as well as a language forum. Also, I liked the word "cyberhome". It sounds cute.
Banndit -- a moderator who bans many users for minor violations Homo Interneticus – an individual more invested in online life then in offline life, may not have any offline friends, addicted either to talking/arguing online, or playing video games Cyberhome -- a forum, Social Network, website, or a game into which a Homo Interneticus has invested substantial posting time and energy. Cybermuzzle -- a moderator's threat to evict a Homo Interneticus from his/her Cyberhome unless the Homo Interneticus changes his/her cyberbehavior. Cyberwar – otherwise known as Flame War is heated recurring argument between two Homo Interneticus which turns into personal hostility.
Political Forum Instagram ... I like Political Forum because, now when I type po, a bunch of porn doesn't come up.
Besides this forum, I spend time or post on two military type forums. The Thailand Laos Cambodia Brotherhood and the Army Together we Served sites. I check all three every time I get on the computer. So I suppose I have three homes.
I have about 16,000 posts (half Russian half English) since late 1990s on 50-100 forums. Not very prolific.
