Once again, I am not denying results of polls. But, yes, you are correct that some deny the ones they don't agree with. I remember the few times a poll showed Trump would win, the left here went crazy saying he had NO chance to win. Well, we see what happened. The people spoke (not Russia). We will soon see if these current polls truly reflect what people really feel.

Sometimes people don't see what is right in front of them. Even when it is written in black and white. Rose colored glasses, or biases, tend to make one think they know better than someone who is not like them. It happens quite frequently and one can see it if they only look.

How do we quantify that interference and measure its effectiveness? I don't know.

But the investigation into these things isn't over yet; we might not know the full story for years.

But we do know Russia intervened on the side of Trump; this week we learned for sure that the Trump campaign was aware of Russian support all the way back before the Convention.

 

Through most of the campaign, very, very few of any political persuasion thought he could win. I don't know who your "left" is that you say went crazy.

Of course, it's impossible to calculate the extent to which Putin's meddling on behalf of Trump and Comey's evoking Weiner's irrelevant computer at a critical stage impacted the results.

It defies logic if you look at the political spectrum in a linear fashion, Left to Right.

However, if you look at it in a circular fashion where the authoritarian Left and Right meet at one of the poles it makes perfect sense.

This is how the extremist right has been demonizing the liberals for the last 37 years. They've been using false propaganda to make the words LEFT and LIBERAL dirty words. This is the same tactics that the Nazis used against the Jews. And it has emboldened the hate groups like the
KU KLX KLAN. The KKK held a rally in Charlottesville Virginia last week end.

 

It's so funny to see the Star Spangled Banner sung at Democratic conventions. The anquish displayed by all of the faces is truly priceless. It's like they're being forced to eat two week old liver and onions.

What was really funny was how there were none at the DNC convention this year, until Trump tweeted about it.
