This is it. This was the last barrier to North Korea striking the US. Analysts also say NoKo has up to 60 nuclear weapons. More than one for each state of the US.

We don't have a choice anymore. We must destroy Un before it is too late.

First thing to remember is this; there is a difference between NK launching an ICBM and NK hiding some nuclear warhead inside an ICBM.
So far it has been possible to actually verify these ICBM's being launched and traveling a certain mileage.
I would concede that happened, although I don't know what an ICBM looks like, nor do I have the security briefs on how far they traveled.
But I go with the opinion that these weapons launched were indeed ICBM's, capable of traveling halfway round the globe. That's bad enough.

Now we have the Washington Post reporting that US intelligence claims NK has managed to insert a nuclear bomb in an ICBM.

Totally different story!

People have a right to be worried but I wouldn't want to contribute to hysteria by just taking this for a fact.
Point is; we will never EVER know whether or not NK has indeed managed to make nuclear loaded ICBM's. Not unless all of us can look inside, with all of us being nuclear weapons experts.
And not until one hits America or some other populated piece of Earth.

Until such time it will always be speculation for the masses.

We can neither confirm nor deny that NK has or has not made nuclear ICBM's.
I'm sort of in limbo about this un-verifyable info; start digging a nuclear bomb-shelter or remain calm? Strangely, I am the latter.

 

I wonder how much of this is true. We had all the hysteria about Saddam having WMD, to justify the illegal war on Iraq - and the British were culpable too - only to find out that there were none. Are there any independant reports?

To state the obvious; Trump might very well be behind this claim. (Smells like his way of manipulating a certain situation.)
In this case I guess it serves to warn China about NK.

But having said that; if this is Trumps game, it will backfire because China knows very well the EXACT state of NK's (nuclear) weapons program.
So China won't be worried, unless they decide there is something to be worried about.

Also, Trump is bored so he had to invent something to keep him occupied.

Well, NK won't attack China so there is nothing to worry them. They might find another threat against America/Japan agreeable, though.

 

I didn't suggest doing so, I simply mean him and his regime must be toppled.

And forgiven by whom? The North Koreans who threaten everyday to nuke us? The Chinese who have allowed this crisis to fester on their border? I don't much care whether they "forgive" us or not.

 

Also, if NK HAS indeed made a nuclear ICBM, wouldn't they be the first to announce the newly born...?
They have shouted all their other weapons inventions from the Pyongyang rooftops, so why keep silent now?
In fact, Kim must be quite upset with Donald for spoiling the surprise.

The North Koreans still have to find the way to deliver a weapon accurately that survives reentry, which would take them years to develop. Previous North Korean ICBMs did not reach their intended targets and reentry vehicles burned up in the atmosphere.
