Sorry, but people attending free speech rallies doesn't move the needle for me. I will judge them by the work they do on the job. The only exception would be if there were irrefutable evidence of said employee engaging in violent rhetoric or all out violence. That would result in immediate termination.

    Was he seen in public?

And, yes, bosses can fire workers for their political views. There is no legal protection for political views.

If he can be slapped with a lawsuit for firing an antifa, then surely other bosses can be sued for firing a racist, too.

As I said before: maybe. I'm not an attorney, but Title VII of the Civil Right Act of 1964 protects those who protest against "discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, disability, pregnancy, age, or some other protected status" from retaliation.

No protection for those who promote such discrimination.

    So... not equivalent.

Hmm...., I seem to remember HRC using that euphemism to describe those that were Trump supporters before it became commonly used. Then again the Taxed Enough Party is also in the same category that the Alt-Left Marxists use as slander against conservatives. The Alt-Left needs no tagging they are self described as vicious racist anarchists seeking to overthrow the Republic.
You politics, religion, race, color and gender should never be used to decide employment.

I know bosses can do that, however I am not arguing about whether this is legal. I am asking whether this is how it should be. More specifically, I am asking YOU personally.

Prove that laws do not apply to someone just because he wants to discriminate.

you cannot be fired due to your membership in a protected group.

you can be fired for your political views or participation in a political protest or gathering.

In some states, Arizona being one of them, you can be fired for any reason.

People have been getting fired for just cussing and being drunk in public. Why wouldn't being racist count as well? The folks you argue with just have a hard time with it because they fall into that category.

The only problem there is that Progressive Socialist Democrats hire and pay Antifa, BLM and Nazi groups. Their job is solely to perpetuate chaos and violence. No sane person would hire them....

Robert Creamer and his Soros funded "Democracy Partners", "Americans United for Change", and "Foval Group LLC" using organizers like Scott Foval and Aaron Black. Does anyone really believe that these organizations just stopped after the Presidential election? I'm sure that at 3:00 AM November 9th 2016 plans were being made to utilize these paid anarchists now called Antifa to start a nationwide project to bring violence and chaos to Main Street America in protest of the election of Donald Trump and not HRC.

I think what the extremists of both sides have learned is that if you're going to engage in destructive violence or crazy ranting, put on a mask first so your job isn't affected.

Just be sure you're in a state which either doesn't prohibit it, or doesn't enforce it. (Like VA not arresting violent AltLefTaliban mask wearers for this offense.)

So, should people who try to hide their identity be exposed in public?

If you feel a certain way then stand up for it. Don't be afraid to get exposed. But when you do and it's racism then accept the consequences. Be an adult. These folks just don't want to accept that times have changed and they can't get away with that stuff anymore.

The alt right label was first put on the alt right by themselves. Richard Spencer claims he was the first to use the phrase, and he's been using it since 2009 or 2010. He even had a website with the name alternativeright.com

So you're claiming now that Richard Spenser a self proclaimed white supremacist speaks for all conservative Americans? Then again Hillary just kindled a flame on something no one really cared about.

Its long past the time to change that "everyone's speech is equal" attitude. Certain people should be fired even I they keep their politics out of the workplace. Anyone who wants to overthrow the Constitution and install "progressivism" should be fired.

Groups like antifa and the "progressives" don't want free speech, they want to kill free speech - so they should not be given the privilege of free speech.

Where I work, the company will not do business with any company located in certain states (such as NY) or those state governments. They wont sell to or buy from those states.

    What? Racism?

Very few actual racists left in the white world. But even they are entitled to think and speak the way they want.
