You're slipping, you forgot to call him a racist. You need to go grab a Snickers bar.

the key word here is "if". No guarantee's that's going to happen; most football enthusiasts have very short memories; especially when it gets close to the playoffs/superbowl.

So now you name call? Lol. Worthless.

I won't stand for the anthem, just because I know it pisses people like you off.

I don't have to do so because people died for me to have the right not to stand for it.

And that, sir, is patriotic. To stand up for our freedoms, not your version of patriotism or "custom".

**** your custom. And your childish filter dodges.

    Blah blah blah.

I could ask you the same question.

I tire of your president and the people who follow him so obtusely demanding everyone else do **** their way.

Do me a favor and block me already. I couldn't care less to banter words with a person who replies with "god I love the **** throwing orangutan liar potus."

Well you just proved what I said earlier, the whole reason they do this is to simply piss off the most (white) people possible.

It's not even about protest, it's just a middle finger.

And no, I wasn't calling you a name, because I included an if statement.

But you went with it, and thus proved me correct again, it's not about freedom of expression, because you're not interested in that, you're only interested in sitting for the anthem to piss people off. And that makes you an............

I don't block people - ever! Besides, I gauge how well Trump's doing by how many liberals he pisses off.

Your reposne to bear513. He ignored it and kept harping for proof what the protests by players was about.
I was proving he had been given tbe the reason.

This is what's surprising to me. The NFL is basically encouraging people to destroy their brains for our entertainment. There are two rapists starting at QB right now. Michael Vick got to come back after doing time for fighting and killing dogs. Adrian Peterson got to come back after beating his 4 year old son. Ray Lewis probably killed two people, or at least had a hand in their murders, yet he got to retire as a super bowl champion. These are not reasons for people to boycott the NFL, but kneeling for 90 seconds during a song is. Something is seriously wrong with the perspective of some people.

Well, I don't agree with all of that but thanks for answering my question without resorting to infantile rhetoric like some I've seen in this thread. One thing I can tell you is no one gets paid to protest. You don't have to pay someone to get upset. There might be a few incidents of someone being directed to start trouble at a protest on any side. I don't know for sure but it sounds plausible. The FBI sure used to do that a lot with their Cointelpro programs aimed at the Black Panthers and the American Indian Movement (AIM). I've heard of the FBI more recently (mostly in NYC) of sending in moles to mosques trying to get members to buy weapons or plan bombings, that sort of thing. But if you mean the DNC paying people to show up at protests, I haven't seen any evidence of that.

They already do that and they're called "race hustlers" for their trouble.

Are you sure they weren't paid to do that?

Seriously, that sounds like a huge overreaction for something that doesn't even disrupt the actual game.
