Simple Solution to the "Bathroom Debate"

You obviously lack facts and cannot discuss it this on a factual pragmatic level.

 

Well, you talk a good game but the truth is you have no interest is getting help for anyone with a mental problem.

 

Why would you say that? Other than the occasional back and forth on topics here you don't know me. In fact when one reads our posts back and forth it would show that it is actually you who doesn't want anyone helped with their problem. I've been clearly stating that this is not treatment, and wishing they were treated like all the other mental disorders we have. You've been full on encouragement.

 

Bathrooms should be left to local communities to decide.

I'm curious. What is your simple solution to shower facilities - like in local high schools or the community aquatic facility?

 

Is it not about time that all shower areas were made private anyway? The idea that everyone should stand next to each other while showering seems archaic. I'm glad my gym has separate showers so we have privacy while washing our intimate areas and dry ourselves in the cubicle and also room to dress ourselves if desired. I would hate to have been at school and openly showering with everyone but we did not have showers or changing rooms in my school anyway

I have a wild and crazy idea: boys use boys' bathrooms and girls use girls' bathrooms.

 

The guidance by the DOJ during the Obama administration was in reference to both bathrooms and locker rooms in schools. That is what Trump reversed.

I agree that bathrooms really isn't a big deal. IMHO, the big problem is the locker rooms. I don't think that the privacy and modesty of teenaged girls is preserved by allowing boys that have delusions of being girls into their locker rooms, and not allowing a separate changing room (to keep the TGs safe from bullying from the boys) as an option.

Your solution is the solution I've been chirping ever since the issue came up. But like the NFL kneeling situation, conservatives find a reason to spin it into something more severe (i.e. women feel unsafe, its against my religious beliefs, etc). You don't go into business for yourself, you go into business for the public. Big box retailers have technically already solved this problem, adding a third gender neutral restroom titled, "Family Restroom." And I'm not hearing incidents of rape or the like happening in these restrooms.

But are generally more on than the other but are you asserting our entire social construct should be based on them?

 

At my school they just turned one of the men's bathrooms into a "gender neutral" bathroom. So now the men have one less bathroom than the ladies.
I think the idea was they were a lot more concerned about biological men entering the woman's bathroom than the other way around.

 

A far cheaper solution: add *one* single unisex bathroom for all.

Unisex bathrooms are common for locations that only have one bathroom.

There are numerous problems for "individual bathrooms" replacing group bathrooms in terms of available space, costs and security issues. Lockable outdoor individual bathroom became housing for bums and convenient rape, prostitution, sex and drug dealing rooms.

 

Obama and Democrats demanding that men have a legal right to shower with little girls probably cost Democrats at least a million votes, maybe 10 million as part of the collection of all the ways they were legally forcing their ideology and alternative values on every school, city, state, business and individual.

 

No. It solves the problem for minimal cost without upsetting everyone else. One single-person unisex bathroom provides what the trans claim they need. They might have to stand in line occasionally, but so does everyone else.

(clarification- one single-person unisex bathroom in addition to the facilities already there, per public building. I don't mean one bathroom total...)

 

You cant fix a mental problem by operating on a persons genitals

The school will be sued. They don't want to use gender neutral bathrooms. They will insist that everyone go along with their fantasy and forcing society to allow men to use the ladies room is the only solution they'll settle for.

 

That's not what the trans claim they need. They demand access to the ladies room. Nothing else will suffice or satisfy they're gender role playing.
