Should he resign? What should be the standard on sexual harassment that should lead to resignation? Will anyone in government turn out to be completely innocent?

    Should he resign? No

    What is the standard? Proof

Will anyone be innocent? Depends on what people believe is proof.

Liberals are 25 years too late to pretend to care about sexual misconduct. Democrats should probably spend some time working on a platform that could win a Congressional seat or two, because they've failed to do that since Trump got elected. Why should anyone care what they are whining about now? They whined about Trump over his inauguration, the peaceful transfer of power, they whined over the travel ban the Supreme Court said was legal, they whined over illegal aliens getting lawfully deported, all they do is whine and nobody is listening any more...

Why would he resign? Isn’t he going to be impeached in two weeks?

Is this the new normal? Fire people over allegations now? I’m sure people can easily see how this could be abused.

Silly stupid strategy by my Democrats here... Everybody (and I mean Everybody) knew Trump was accused of a lot of sexual things prior to his election.... It didn't matter to his base then (and the other 14-16% of dimwits who voted for him) and it doesn't matter now.... Sacrificing Franken for no gain was just DUMB!!!

Every Democrat who called for Franken to resign on Black Thursday really needs to reexamine their thought processes....

It all hinges on the ongoing Mueller investigation.... forget the sex stuff guys.... it's a non-starter....

Yep, right outta the Dems playbook. Sacrifice Franken so they can play moral police on Trump. Be patient, my simple-minded friends. We'll dig into Trumps sexual history right after hes indicted for collusion with the Russians. One witch hunt at a time, please.

Yes, the party who totally, completely and constantly ignores the pedophilia of 1.8 billion people certainly have a loud opinion on unproven pedophilia accusations all while they want to lower the age of consent down to the age this woman was when this supposedly occurred.

Franken wasn't a sacrifice, he was a sleazebag. Every day Franken and Conyers were around it made the liberal hypocrisy towards women more and more pronounced. Franken was booted because he made Democrats look bad, it had nothing to do with Trump.

Yeah, this will work like a charm, just as well as it worked against Trump in 2016 and just as amazingly well as it's working against Moore now.

World to Libs: Einstein, insanity, definition..... does it ring a bell? :D

Franken hasn't actually gone anywhere. If Roy Moore wins Alabama, look for Franken to reverse course. Trent Franks looks to have jumped the gun regarding his "sexual misconduct"? I honestly don't consider a discussion of surrogacy "sexual", or "harassment" either. $5 million seems extremely generous, if not at least extremely flattering. Unless Trent proposed insemination the "old fashioned" way, the event seems awkward, but not harmful.

I hope you are right on Franken....

I tend to agree with you that the Franks situation seems neither sexual or harassment to me, unless the caveat you mentioned occurred... Which I figure would have been the lead if it was.... While it is pretty inappropriate, I wouldn't call this a "sex scandal" either...

You do realize, do you not, that Al Franken and Barney Franks are two totally separate individuals? Both stupid, but separate.
