a nonbinding resolution criticizing Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Jerusalem is in Israel, if Israel allows the US to have an embassy there, no other country has a say in it, whatsoever. The UN can stick their heads directly up their, "you know", and stay the hell out our business. I hope Trump cuts the UN completely off. No more money whatsoever. We don't need a counsel that consistently hates on America, damn sure don't need to waste American tax dollars to pay for such hate.

 

The dems love the wars, so do reps, it's why no matter what party is on the throne, America is always at war.

 

That is not how UN diplomats act. And not the purpose of the UN to threaten other nations for not voting on a particular issue.

Well I can tell you in this particular case, the purpose of the UN votes is to make them feel as if they are needed. But they are not. In this particular case.

Votes within the UN helps nations see what it is other nations are truly after. For the nations can say one thing, but when it's time to vote, they have to vote for what they want, which is revealed at the vote.

Having worked in an embassy I am quite confident that the OBO - office of buildings overseas- already has the embassy designed and I am sure the location has been picked Out for years for Both. embassies.

 

Why can't someone support the Palestinian view of Jerusalem? Is it against the law to think that they have a right to,their own country ( or a small part of it) and their own Capitol in occupied East Jerusalem.

 

Is it not true that the Palestine's openly admit, that if they had the resources they would "wipe Israel off the map"? Is it not true, that Israel says, we want peace with the Palestine's? Israel does have the resources to "wipe Palestine off the map". But they don't now do they?

"U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley sent an invitation Thursday to the 65 countries who didn’t vote against the United States in the U.N. General Assembly vote to denounce President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital."

Major allies like Britain, France, Germany and Japan voted for the resolution and will not receive Haley's invitation. Egypt and Jordan, strategic partners of the United States in the Middle East in the fight against ISIS and Iran, voted for the resolution and will not receive Haley's invitation.

Countries that supported Trump's controversial declaration and Israel are Guatemala, Honduras, Togo, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru and Palau and they will receive Haley's invitation.

Why in the world does the Trump administration wish to advertise the loss of our major allies on the issue and emphasize with its moronic invitation an alliance with far weaker nations?

Why is Trump telling hostile foreign powers like Russia, China, and North Korea that he just weaken the alliance between the United States and our NATO allies?
