During a rally at the Al-Aqsa Mosque following Trump's Jerusalem declaration, Palestinian cleric Sheikh Nidhal Siam issued a call to arms to the Muslim armies to arise in order to "liberate Jerusalem from the filth of the plundering Jews." The crowds followed Sheikh Siam in his chants: "Oh Trump, you coward, you just wait. We will dig your grave by means of the Caliphate."

Maybe you like him and maybe you don't .. Mr. Trump understood who are his real enemies !
You cannot take that from him.

Such rhetoric is vile I agree.
These people never learn that violence does not work, they should try peaceful resistance for a change.

Ever notice how much macho dick swinging the powerless palestinians engage in? Seems general helplessness coupled with a culture of hatred creates the perfect environment for the not so powerful to feel empowered. Boy did we tell them, eh?

One one hand, this guy wants to end the occupation of palestine and is excellent with words. On the other hand, he's a homicidal anti-semite, which really outweighs the other things. Shame.

I am suspicious about this. Memri with its links to Israeli intelligence is known for releasing bogus stuff. I can find no other account of this although in the last few days it appears to have been posted over islamophobia websites like Jihad watch and Christian Zionist sites. All in the last couple of days and all this same article which apparently dates from the 12th of December.

I can find two things. One dated late November before this happened

    http://imemc.org/article/53-settlers-storm-al-aqsa-mosque/

so looks like they are continuing having problems from extremist settlers.

Now the nearest to anything happening there to the 12th of December I can find is the 9th from the Times of Israel

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/israe...-to-jerusalem-prayers-helped-reduce-protests/

that carries on to say everything went without incident. The next article the Times of Israel has on Al Aqsa is the 16th of December. Now this is a protest and may be what Memri were using. From the Times of Israel

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/arab-israelis-protest-us-jerusalem-recognition-in-jaffa-north/

so the worst they apparently said was that they were prepared to die for Al Aqsa and given their situation of utmost oppression having more and more of their land taken from them, I think they have such a right.

Try it yourselves. Do a search for the apparent "During a rally at the Al-Aqsa Mosque following Trump's Jerusalem declaration," and see if you can find more than me.

There is no occupation in that area.
Those who are so called "Palestinians" have a huge state and it's called Jordan.

    Give the rest back.

No, Palestine is a different place from Jordan. Remember geography? British Palestine?

Why be suspicious? I refuse to believe we don't have an Arab language speakers among us here, so can someone disprove Memri's accuracy of translation?

    Don't think anyone will :juggle:

Sure. We'll let Erdogan know Turkey can have Palestine back as soon as the Jews will get a country in Iraq, on whose territory a thriving Jewish community have lived for two and a half millennia. Oh, and in Egypt too, there has been a large Jewish community there since Alexander the Great.

The British Mandate in 1920 included the green area, before the Hashemite Bedouin tribe from the Arabian Peninsula was invited to carve up its own country from Palestine by the Perfidious Albion in violation of its own mandate:

Yeah, but I don't actually care about historical borders because I think they're all bullshit and should be disrespected frequently. I care that Israel is a violent and repressive apartheid state and I don't think that can change unless the state of israel ceases to exist.

I'll point out that you're being willfully ignorant and dumb about what the word palestine means in certain contexts, but that doesn't mean my argument rests on it.

It seems you dont remember geography.
"British Palestine" was the total area that included the West bank and the East bank. From 1921, The Brits gave the East Bank to The Hashemite family to rule, and from 1921 the Jews were left with only the West Bank (the territory West to the Jordan river, and not only Judea and Samaria) to establish there their state, as San Remo Resolution concluded and Article 80 of the UN Charter protects till this day.

You dont care about borders, but you try to educate people on the borders of "British Palestine". Huh, funny.

Do you know what is "Apartheid"? If so, can you elaborate?

Oh man!! Ad-Hominm will not help you there. Remember what Socrates said: "when the debate is lost, slender becomes the tool of the loser"- dont be the loser!

Or peaceful cooperation. Novel concept for them, it would seem.

Were Palestinians to sit down and negotiate at the onset, none of today's crap would have been, and Palestinians today would have had a state larger, than they can hope for today. Instead, they made war of the newly minted state of Israel; the rest as they say, is history.

To think this and the Indo-Paki conflict in Kashmir were the first two tasks that the much ballyhooed UN was given to resolve.

you have to consider that my attitude for nearly every single argument i get onto on this website is "wow this person is dumb, i bet i can have fun with them".

i don't actually care about the history of british palestine if it's a useful opportunity to point out that someone is just intentionally being obtuse.

as for apartheid: the israeli government applies entirely different standards to arab citizens than it does non-arab citizens, let's not pretend that's not apartheid.

cool, lots of ethnic palestinians also lived there and are being oppressed by the israeli state. the israeli state was established on a part of palestine and is oppressing the people that already lived there. you and i agree on the same facts, you're just applying a different spin, one that ignores a long history of racism.

You and I think alike, albeit at the opposite sides of the barricade.

"Wow, this person is dumb" was exactly my thought. Great minds...

Ever heard of dumb and dumber?

all i'm saying is that the middle east would be better off if everyone who lived there was allowed to stay where the were and the british didn't **** around with ethnic conflicts
