I guess you could call it that.

    But it's not very bright.

Why do you always bring up Obama? It's a sign of weakness.

Tell me, what are thanking Trump for? I'm dying to hear it. Are you thanking him for the job he did on Jerusalem, the topic of this discussion? If so, please explain.

Don't be so bloody soft. You were. I think, talking about the UN, which represents the governments of various countries, just as Trump represents your boss class. What's your 'god' got to do with it? As to your last bit, it is a fantasy made up during the First World War, as you know. As the Bishop of Liverpool pointed out, American fundamentalists have ceased to be Christians: they worship Trump and Money.

Threatened other nations? No. Trump simply reminded them that biting the hand that feeds is unwise. Many ignored the presidents friendly reminder ... Their failure has saved US taxpayers $285 million $$$. The US is both wiser, and richer for it. MAGA.

So the racist parrots have recently been taught by their masters to squawk, much to the increase of the world's boredom.

I anticipate the US role in NATO will decline as well. Frau Merkel is assembling an EU military force ... harbinger of sorrow. Trump is investing heavily in missile defenses, and nuclear deterrence. Trump realizes the futility of trying to police global barbarity. Isolating ourselves from the savagery of islam, now inundating Europe, and insulating ourselves against the encroaching drug cartels to the south, is sound policy. Coupling trade restrictions with a reduction in foreign aid will save money, and promote domestic investment / production. It's a strategy that has served the Chinese well. Ironic Trump should referse engineer a philosophy that's "made in China".

It doesn't work for the U.S. is one big reason.

Yes, you are right. The savings of $285 million pleases Trump, his SecTreas, and several Republican lawmakers.

How short-sighted can you get? What countries pay to the U.N. is based on economies. We have the largest economy in the world, twice that of our nearest competitor, China. By not paying our share we further anger nations that used to be our allies, Britain, France, Germany, and certain Arab nations like Jordan and Egypt. The relations with our allies have already been strained by Trump's policies, lukewarm support for NATO, withdrawal from the Paris Accord, and his foolhardy decision regarding Jerusalem.

To further anger these nations to save a dime is incomprehensibly stupid. The decision further isolates America.

But, then, that is what Trump and his supporters like you want to happen. That's is why Trump is so dangerous. Isolating our country from our allies in the face of hostile powers like Russia, China, and North Korea is a very bad mistake.

That says it all, for Trump and his supporters. Trump thinks the very same way, MAGA and nationalism.

What's wrong with that? That is an incredibly stupid and short-sighted policy in view of the 20th century wars. Twice, Germany wanted to MGGA. Stalin wanted to MRGA. China thought communism was a great idea and encouraged its expansion. The result was the costly Korean War, which quickly followed two devastating world wars, and later the equally costly Vietnam War.

All these wars were caused by nations who wished to isolate themselves from the rest of the world and thought their nation was superior. That is the definition of nationalism. With every speech he makes, Trump exudes American exceptionalism, nationalism, and his policies isolate us. He is a very dangerous and incompetent oligarch.

And here we have an adult -- I am assuming you are an adult -- asking what is wrong with isolationism.

    Obama
Trump has spent more than 1 billion of his own money, and does not accept his POTUS salary. While Obama and Hillary have profited millions as a public servant. FACTS!

A really foolish post. Do you have a problem with reading comprehension? I was referring to taxpayer's money, not Trump's financial circumstances, although Mueller is looking into that and Trump's tax returns.

Just stating a fact! Your worried about Trump's tax return's for no reason. Did you ask for Obama's and Hillary's? No, you only care about Trump's because with systematic ease, he defeated the wicked witch!!!

It really pretty simple. Other nations are either with us or against us. If they are against us, we need to cut off all money and help to them.

The USA does not hold dominion over the name of other nation's capital city. We do hold dominion over where we place our embassies so long as the other nation supplies us with property for the use.

Russia for instance was told to evacuate the embassy in San Francisco and though Russia still owns it, the place is empty.

    OMG

This has to end. I mean how long can one rust their own pipes until they get clogged.

How much can one dump in his toilet and it cease to work.

I believe a bit of complaining just may help the health. But to a point. Then one wonders if an aneurysm is at hand.

When the other nations either pay little or none or just late their bills to the UN, do Democrats mind this? They seem to forgive nations not paying unless it is our citizens protesting we saved the UN huge sums of cash. Trump has actually impacted on the UN. At last, free at last. Thank god we are free at last.

You really should do some reading before writing posts. You are advertising your ignorance.

I'm not not worried about Trump's tax returns. Trump is. Both Obama and Clinton released their tax returns to the public.

Why is it you are not concerned about Trump's refusal to release his tax returns to the public? Why aren't you concerned about what he is hiding? He has had financial ties to Russia and Russians in the past. Aren't you curious that his tax returns will reveal current financial ties to Russia. One thing is certain. He is hiding something. Trump is the first President in 40 years not to release his tax returns. Why?

I see no way Trump would list what you seek on the income tax form.

i challenge all who allege they want to know about Trump's holdings to look at his FCC reports since they list around 500 business ventures he is owner in.

I see no Democrat spent a moment studying the FCC reports. Proof is they want his tax return.

In my firm, I have studied many many income tax returns. I got them legally and the borrower agreed by signing a paper that I could have them. I am by law charged not to disclose the tax returns. So I know what is on them. I frankly was using them to economically qualify them.

Study election laws and discover there are no financial requirements to be president. They come with a large salary but in Trump's case, he donates it. I guess he can afford to be president.

Take Bill Clinton, where when he was president, I ran him through my loan qualifying software and per the rules, he was not able to afford the home at Chappaquiddick. But there he was, getting a loan approved. Don't know how he broke lending regulations, but he did.

How can Mueller look into Trump's tax returns? He is not a court of law. He does not work for the IRS.
