Palm trees grow north well into South Carolina here in coastal regions. Winters can be very cold there. Certain palms will tolerate low temps, other palms not so much.

 

It got cold because of "global warming" geese...

 

My experience is that palm trees are quite resilient

You mean, have a bunch of assimilated drones evaluate the papers and studies written by other assimilated drones. Anyone who proposed ideas that were outside the group think would be instantly shut down. Its global-warming, it's man-made, two legs good four legs bad. Resistance is futile.

The problem with your statement is that "climate change" and AGW are different things. I know, you probably don't understand that, do you? If you did, you wouldn't have said them as if they were somehow equivalent. And yet you did. Climate change is both positive or negative in terms of temps. You know that, right? I doubt that there are any of us who actively post about the silliness of AGW who disagree that our climates change. Why? Because they do. Now, for the sake of argument, do you know what the A in AGW stands for? Can you also then, using other people's research for sure, demonstrate the actual positive temperature component the A produced in the overall positive calculation? We'll wait.

But, until then, please don't conflate the thing we all agree on, with the thing you yourself believe in, because they are NOT the same.

 

I dont need you to buy anything. I want my nation to get rid of fossil fuels. What you do is irrelevant for me.

 

A friend of mine sent me this Tuesday from the southern border of Georgia, only about 90 miles across the Florida border from my house. It never snows there. Well never say never. Snow wasn't sticking too well but it was coming down hard.

 

We never had palm trees here or potatos surving the winter outside. Thats a new phenomen.

 

I'm pretty sure it's political for those who are saying all studies are fake. That is an extreme claim, and requires a huge works cited list.

Your view on this matter is purely subjective, as you can not actually provide any papers. This subjectivity is brought on from your conservative upbringing. You were told this is all fake, so you run with it. Even though the facts say otherwise.

It's okay, you went through the same thing with evolution. You'll get over it.

 

Which is why I'm saying and. There are posters doubting each, from the posts I've seen in this thread. The climate change in discussion is clearly in a warming trend.

But both happen to be real, as reports show.
