You left out everyone except black people in your initial post; now, you're simply scrambling.

Perhaps being raised in Saudi Arabia, not being around many black people, is what has caused you to be racist without realizing it? You are certainly fitting the model of the liberal/progressive/socialist who, from a lack of exposure to some races, projects their inner feelings into an expectation of poor performance by people of that race?

Judge people as individuals, you'll be a better person for it.

    Or, perhaps you're just ignorant?

I saw a guy just today here in LA... lying on the sidewalk in a sleeping bag with a sign asking for money. He was at least 50 lbs. overweight and - get this - WATCHING A MOVIE ON A SMARTPHONE!

Hard to grow an economy if nothing is made locally.

When I see one I will respond accordingly.
And here comes the playground tactic. Simply because you dislike the source does not make the source invalid. Your failure to refute the source makes you invalid.

That's just the voice of ignorance speaking. How much of what you consume in La Pine, Oregon is made in La Pine, Oregon?

You have already seen one from me and instead of refuting it factually, you opted for petty insults. You have yet to actually make a valid, supportable point in this thread.

You posted an opinion piece... from a publication that made its business model on condensing news into easily digestible segments for a third-grade reading level. Your "source" is no source at all and is thusly refuted.

Ya and it's so bad in the U.S. that millions are applying for entry and 10's of millions are crawling like slugs to avoid detection as they enter illegally! The OP has many blatant contradictions it would seem LOL

It was really the source for me it was the illogic of the data and history of migration from and to the U.S. ;) Then there was fetal death, were I found it interesting that abortion wasn't even considered which amounts to almost a million potential births (2016)! I can only gather this statistic is considered "Availability procedure" to offset headstrong Americans with very grateful immigrants??

Are you seriously thinking that "locally" is referring to one single area in a country? Get real. Then too, I did say "if NOTHING is made locally", not "unless ALL is made locally"

LOL, you may not like the "opinion" of another since it uses actual facts to support that "opinion" which is nothing new. However, I have seen that those who oppose the article want to deflect from talking of poverty here in the States, and try to argue a universal approach to poverty.

The bottom line is does one think it is appropriate in a country such as ours with all of its wealth, to have millions of children having to scrounge for food, or even shelter, while a small minority garner the wealth of the country for their own purposes?

Do you consider an abortion to mean "infant mortality"? As you just said, an abortion ends a "potential birth". Should we then add miscarriages?

I clearly said "Potential" was the word and concept to advanced for you? I would say no on miscarriages as it's not really a selective process..
