Remember when the whacko shot the Republican congressman and tried to kill dozens? I failed to hear much about gun control then. All I remember from the left was "mental illness" and "lone wolf". :roflol:

You dodged the question you know there are no purely socialist nations because socialism doesn't work on the state level. The best form of government seems to be a Constitutional Federal Republic with a socialist safety net for the infirm, elderly and children.

Thanks for both the dodge, the insults and the false accusations. It helps me determine your age, maturity and education level.

Correct. Don't forget that pesky paragraph in the Second Amendment.

All of that :) Like I said it has been challenged in 2008-10 and reaffirmed both times to mean just as it presently stands! You are simply misinterpreting what it has been ruled on my the SC twice.. You're just another inconsequential constitutional interpreter with an OPINION that means absolutely NOTHING :)

Video surveillance is everywhere nowadays including school campuses. Seeing we are given zero evidence, what reason could any thinking person give for believing these "shootings" are real?
We have all been indoctrinated, but you don't have to continue to be their tool.
You need to know who owns your media, and who wants your guns. Are they capable of lying?
It isn't as if they haven't admitted such things plenty of times, yet some will still defend the criminal.
AAAJEWZ1.PNG aaacnn.PNG Who leads the gun control agenda?
    aadefc.PNG

Combine this with the admissions that the shooter is a Jew,Sheriff is a Jew,many of the high school victims were Jews, the teacher that supposedly was killed(though he has turned up alive) is a JEW,
The people howling for gun control are Jews, and they have duped the goyim once again.

Ah, so it's your position that the quote from A2S2 that you provided in post #180 is bogus. Right?

Get a life. A typo is a typo. As well, only gun nuts think that being an aficionado of weapons is essential to this discussion. I have other more interesting things to occupy my mind and my life. In the end though, it was a typo.

I don't know when you were a kid, but it is likely at that time there were no AR-15s available to private citizens and that there were not about 100 guns in America per every 100 people. Gun ownership and gun sales are out of control. It's time to put serious controls on the type of guns that are in the hands of private citizens. Not that only 3% of the population own 50% of the guns. The people who own guns are often people with personality disorders and are delusionary. They are not thinking about what is best for the country. Things need to change.

The cultural problem that has developed over the past decades is an obession with guns: the gun culture is the problem.

Nope, you're still misunderstanding the issue.
The longer description that would help understand is at: https://www.lectlaw.com/files/gun01.htm

Has nothing to do with mental health, bad upbringing, lack of respect, a past often filled with abuse or neglect, a common denominator of shooters on prescriptions for depression, the ease of getting into a school where targets are unarmed, the proclamation of schools as gun free (protection free) zones, a lack of physical security, or a media perpetuating the fad and romanticizing school shootings? Guns are the go-to argument, but the gun can't fire without someone intending harm on others behind it. Remove that person from the equation, problem solved. Why skip that and go to the gun?

Because you cannot monitor every person in the country to determine if they are going to become a mass shooter. It is literally impossible. You need to stop selling assault weapons to private citizens.

When I was a kid the AR-15 hadn't been invented yet. However, there were plenty of semi automatic firearms. I don't know how many guns there were per person but I'm sure you can find some numbers somewhere. Incidentally if 3% of the population owns 50% of the guns (maybe true, maybe not) then those 3% are the enthusiasts and collectors. These aren't the people who engage in shooting up schools. The means to do mass shootings has been available for more than a century.

Your sentence about delusionary people is opinion and not fact. The gun culture, assuming that means anything, is not the problem. The problem is people. The problem is a broken culture and the internet social media that fuels it. People used to get together for lots of things. Now they just make "friends" on the internet and text each other. We are becoming anti social people. Imagine worrying about what some stranger on another keyboard in another place thinks. That is a recent phenomenon.

Banning things rarely fixes anything. Banning behaviors can certainly help. We had a tactical rifle ban and a magazine ban decades ago. It didn't help anything. In 1994 they ended the ban when a justice department study showed no benefit from the ban. Repeating the ban and expecting different results is not a sensible solution to anything. I realize that what you really want is a repeal of the second amendment. So perhaps you should work on that instead of blaming inanimate objects for what people do.

How do you monitor the 300million + guns already in circulation? If you can remove them from the market, surely you can remove the people from behind those guns who are the truly dangerous problem and place them in some situation where they're harmless to others.

What does stopping the sale of assault weapons really do? With all of them in existence plus the massive number of all other types of firearms available, what does that accomplish at all? Seems it would accomplish absolutely nothing and make our children not even a little bit safer.

Sane people know the cross-checks verify it's reality.

How are you indoctrinated? Via mindwaves or regular meetings at the Beer Hall?

Yeahright. We also have a S.C. that said a corporation is a "person". It's the right wing insanity.

That is pure opinion that doesn't take into account the actual situation and nature of socialism. And your willingness to pose your opinions as historical facts give me insight into your capacity to evaluate your own emotional reactions to reality.

If you are in college, consider taking a class on US government. While I readily agree that giving corporations the rights of citizens by declaring them a "person" is a bad thing, it's not a recent thing. It goes back to 1886 so claims of "right wing insanity" are silly. Why didn't FDR change it? Truman? Kennedy? Carter? Clinton? Obama?
