Who ffing cares? All parents want the best for their kids. Being a liberal or anything else is irrelevant. Getting into Julliard won't help anyone without natural talent. It can help get auditions or even jobs because going there and completing the program, being on your CV/resume, will help get auditions and such, but this girl only needs her parents' names to get auditions. Talent is the bottom line in success in the arts. I suspect that the child wants dearly to go to Julliard and her parents will do what they can to help her achieve that heart's desire. Attacking them for being loving parents is pretty low.
