John McCain: Senate should reject Gina Haspel for CIA director

Oh here's a shocker, RINO John McCain agrees and will vote with democrats on this issue just like he has against Trump on EVERY other issue in the past.

Since the democrats keep throwing the "Impeach" word out there regarding Trump, maybe the people should use it about this guy as well.

For the record I no longer care that McCain was a war hero, or that he has a serious illness. The fact that he has continuously voted with the democrats and against the GOP on matters of importance that the people feel strongly about, means in my opinion the political correctness gloves should be off.

What McCain has been doing to this country by voting with the lousy rotten democrats time after time simply because he holds a grudge against Trump, is beyond dirty and downright unpatriotic. His has allowed his arrogance and bitterness to over rule what would be best for the American people and therefore, I think his actions should be considered criminal and he should be asked to step down and if doesn't do so, should be impeached.

The day Arabs killed over 3000 at the world trade center and have continuously heinously murdered Americans chopping off limbs and their heads leaves them fair game for whatever measures that are needed to try and keep Americans safe. I realize studies show that waterboarding wasn't effectual and for that reason they should consider whatever works but it should NOT be because it was considered inhumane. Those tortured still have all their body parts intact. Their heads weren't severed from the bodies and lives stripped away. So all considerations that do work should be on the table BAR NONE.

Since Rand Paul is also starting to look very suspicious taking the other side in most cases, all might want to rethink his re-election as well.

Coming from a man who was tortured himself as a POW carries more weight than anyone here on torture.

I remember, so vividly, those on the left constantly castigating McCain for his service, his having to endure captivity. I recall those same liberal voices suggesting that this man was so entirely radical as to endanger all of humanity. Today? Milk and honey. This is, of course, the same guy. And mostly, the same talking heads now lauding a man who frankly, they would have spit on in public not that very long ago.

I never agreed with having McCain represent the GOP against BO. I knew intrinsically that he would lose. He did. And we suffered. And instead of being part of the solution, McCain was always a structural part of the problem.

The dance of winning by making your opponents lead. For me, that just isn't moral. And neither was what mr McCain has done, then, or today. Mr McCain gave up his moral authority the very second he trotted out onto the nomination floor and decided to loose.

 

He’s good on torture and bad on war. It’s not that complicated really.

 

Several died undergoing torture by the US and many others had to be resuscitated. And that is just what we know about. These sites went well beyond waterboarding. Why do you think Gina was so eager to destroy the tapes?
