If the topic under discussion is "political corrects", a word filter makes this discussion impossible.

What really catches me is when I get used to using a word filter and write the cuss words I am thinking in the full knowledge that they will be printed as ******* and everyone will know exactly what I mean.
In so doing I can still clearly express the anger/frustration/emotion level in my sentiments.

The word filter fails... the cuss words get printed. and I get infracted by Captain Political Correct.

So some filter softwares are better than others. This one seems fine.

Define vile and offensive. And who is judge and jury according to what they deem as such?

 

Let me dumb it down for you:

Ask a black man if the N word is vile or offensive. He most likely will say it is NOT offensive. IF its another black person saying it. So to the black guy...it depends on what HE deems vile or offensive.

You have no idea on how rules change per country. Lots of other countries have no filters. You say it you own it type of thing. I WAS life banned from the entire country of Finland once but the state department fixed that. American forums are their own protective bubble. I don't guess what the Russians think or the press I go right to their forums.
