If you can’t make more than 11$ an hour, it’s probably because you don’t deserve 11$ an hour.

I’m in the most financially destitute county in the Midwest, guess what? I have a job making 6 digits a year.

I could walk to Kenworth and get a job starting at 18$ an hour starting.

I could walk to Van-Rob/Kerchoff and get a job making 15$ An hour starting.

I could go to the local A-Plant and make 45$ an hour by being a janitor.

Some people are just to ****ing worthless to make that amount of money.

    Yes.
    Addiction is a mental state.
Democrats program people to believe they are addicted to drugs or food because they like writing regulations and raising taxes to justify their existence. They need a dependent class of people.
Instead of blaming tobacco, pharmaceuticals, and food companies, what do you think would happen if people were programmed to believe they could beat their addiction?

No one using drugs, alcohol, or big macs think they are doing something healthy or that they have no control. The psychology behind making people regular consumers for these items is not complicated. The problem is that the responsibility will always fall on the tax payer. Our countries health is in a nose dive. How do we pull out?

we live in a free country, as long as people do not commit crimes on alcohol or other drugs, that is their choice, not the governments imo

a better example is High Fructose Corn Syrup, that is killing people as bad as alcohol, as it's processed in the liver like alcohol, just no buzz, so it's legal

it's republicans like Trump's DOJ that continue this war on drugs, Marijuana should not even be a scheduled one substance as it has a valid medical purpose

yes, some people get addicted, that is on them, unless they commit crimes while on drugs or ask for help, it's not the governments problem imo

most Americans partied when younger, had they entered the legal system it would of hurt many of their lives more then the drugs ever could

I think if drugs were legal, friends and family would be more likely to try and get them help, with them being illegal they do not want to help for fear of getting them into legal trouble

Corn is subsidized, 10% of welfare money is spent on sweetened beverages, and once they are sick, tax payers pay for their medication. That's a triple subsidy.

I agree that we should not be sending people to prison for drugs. The problem is that when people who agree with me get into office, they try to take my guns away.

I had an interesting experience with Tramadol, a weak synthetic that is thought to be non addictive.
I used it when I played golf. Worked good. The doctor decided they needed to drug test in order to prescribe it so we did.
Due to an insurance screw up I saw the cost paid by insurance was $1200 for the drug screen.
I use an Advil Tylenol cocktail now. What a racket.

I fear the war on drugs will mean doctors fear prescribing them in the future and when really needed, they will just say take a couple aspirins instead

Just adjusting it up from the 1969 level, for inflation would be helpful.

The people who say the min wage is a bad thing, are the ones who don't get paid the min. wage. ha ha ha. Or 10 cents above it, which is common in my area.

That has already happened in my area. Doctors fear the DEA. And it affects how they practice medicine.

What it amounts to, is that where in the past doctors would try to control your pain to give a quality of life, a few overdoses from drug addicts takes away this quality of life medications from those that really need it. Old, sick people for one. Like me. ha ha.

The gov't always over reacts when pushed by the hysterical special interests groups. And the do gooders, who don't need pain meds for a quality of life. Never fails.

So it ends up with the DEA telling doctors how to practice medicine, and become threats to that practice. Not all doctors are in it for the money drugs will bring them. So the DEA finds a few and then MSM makes it look like most doctors are doing this. Never fails.

The DEA knowing better than trained professionals, doctors, has been going on for years. It is absurd.

we need to get rid of the DEA, they can't even follow their own rules

if they were an honest agency, Marijuana would not be a scheduled one substance as it has accepted medical use, which means they are violating their own rules

    https://www.dea.gov/drug-scheduling

"Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are:"
